Which region is Ehentai/Hverse server based in? (Pretty sure it's UK/somewhere Europe)
And by any chance, is anyone else who replied here playing from the Asian/Australian regions?
I thought I was the only one having this problem until I read all your posts. (IMG:[

style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) It takes 3~5 seconds a turn even though I'm the only one (I think) using the line in this apartment, no torrents/programs up and max 2 windows open while playing HV (The ehentai main page & the HV game itself). I have reset my router a few times already with a 30 min waiting period in between resets. Recently the lag has been going on and off during the day and sometimes at night too, it's already caused me to fail riddlemaster quite a few times...Stamina loss because img won't load/load too slow is really rage-inducing (IMG:[

small rant :
Spoiler text - Highlight to read...
Slugging through ALL the arenas up to the Trio & the Tree took me a total of 6 hours, to top it off the freaking Riddlemaster repeatedly kicked me in the balls and made me lose a crapload of STA just because the answers didn't show up fast enough/page load error...Whoever thought it was a good idea to put CAPTCHA-like systems in their games? Jagex implements this system, and that still doesn't stop a whole bunch of botters doing their thing (albeit restricted to activities which characters don't move around much/use alot of inventory clicking eg. Magic skill grinding near a bank with alchemy) >:(
I guess I'll stop fighting in anything other than Random Encounters now, will just go back to other games (IMG:[

UPDATE : just reloaded page while typing and saw these posts

Define "bad route". Does getting a faster connection solve it?

No

Generally, it means that there's significant lag somewhere in between you and the HV servers. It doesn't matter how fast your computer/local connection is if there's a DDoS or network outages going on that are forcing your packets to take long detours.
Oversimplified? Maybe. Good enough? I like to think so..
@destructorspace
Thanks for explaining it properly (IMG:[
