Play on normal if you want more Artifact drops.

Normal difficulty -> Longer runs

Longer runs -> More drops

More drops -> Higher chance of an Artifact dropping.

In that case, why didn't you play in easy mode?

Just did 800 rounds of normal grindfest. 1 snowflake. I was also reminded of why I play on IWBTH, all the drops were garbage, only 1 exquisite cotton, lol.

1073 arena rounds, 1 snowflake. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) And I hadn't played this much HV in the entire 2013 so far.

I think we can all agree that the 2013 snowflake drop rate is waayyy lower than expected. It makes me wonder what Buttons were being pressed by our lord and master? Certainly way more play has resulted...and an insane secondary market, the most insane I have seen in my brief time here

Some other threads expressed the idea that previous extravaganzas resulted in tooo many artifacts collected and shrined. For my part, I only ever really wanted a set to collect a unique trophy, but can forgoe it if necessary. This is after all an important holiday weekend, and I assume less time than usual is available to players, on average, as is with me.

Same here...I only got 2 total drops of many hours in all modes...I did get about 10 regular artifacts, but still, way lower and really, without me shelling out hath and credits, I wouldn't have been able to do it.

This time of the year is the only chance I get, even with 6/10 training, to get artifacts in a reasonable amount (although what they have given me has been nothing but EDs and Crystals...only 1 hath prize, no ability points, and NO ability bonuses!). Perhaps my luck is bad, but when the ability to get credits was nerfed some time ago, the training prices never came down proportionately...they remained where they were.

Played about 500 rounds on my exquisite plate sabatons equip, on easy mode and got jackshit on snowflakes. Atleast I got some training points, ive been slacking off on item world for afew weeks.


Picked up 3 reg artifacts that were all redeem for crystals (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) AND I had just completed training on level 6/10 of archaeologist earlier.



Back to normal mode. Just gonna try doing nothing but item world tomorrow for those last two snowflakes.

Which totally sucks for me, as my plate is full of real world matters and I probably won't get back to gaming til 7pm tomorrow night at best.

Finally! All the other snowflakes dropped pretty quickly, but in the last 3 days I have done 3 months worth of Grindfest trying to get that stupid last flake to drop.

On the bright side, I got enough crystals to raise the monster I am leveling much faster that I normally could. On the other side, I couldn't keep up with the chaos upgrades, so the monster is pretty weak.

Oh well, back to Spaghetti Monster and the arenas.

AAAAHK just lack Sparkling Snowflake... and since I'm a newbie I don't have the money to buy one @_@ mmm...


and... actually found one cheap store, but used all of my money, only 500c left mmm...

so anyone knows what should I do with this set to get the good promised mmm...~?

Shrine all of them before midnight UTC?

The order in which you shrine or if you shrine the entire set together or separately do not matter. HV runs over a MySQL database, therefore figuring out all players that shrined all 7 flakes is just a SQL query. The prize will come later.

yup, you have a little less than 5 hours to shrine them (well, unless the ending date is an april foll's joke)

The snowflakes give prizes like normal artifacts in the shrine. The prize trophy for the full set will come later, when the event finishes.
