So far I've gotten 283 normal Artifacts, and I've gotten 78 Snowflake Artifacts. TAKES SO DAMN LONG TO GET THEM!! (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif)

Finally completed a set (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

For my very first hunt, I didn't past 87 stamina and had to trade 2 Glinting for a Scintillating and Gleaming. It was coll (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

how many points do you have in scavenger/archaeologist?
were you playing at IWBTH?

i think that snowflakes drops follow a totally different roll, maybe it's even a totally different drop.

i usually play at hell difficulty and i have 25 scavenger and 3 archaeologist and i have found more snowflakes than normal artifacts since the event started.
the amount of normal artifacts i found is kinda consistent with the amount i find normally, but i could not say for sure.

anyway if the drop or snowflakes in not influenced by scavenger/archaeologist and difficulty level and is a drop roll of his own it would explain why i found more snowflakes than normal artifacts and you had a totally different outcome (that if your artifact drop chance is way higher than mine).

40/50 scavenger and 10/10 archaeologist

I've been grinding on normal difficulty.

i have +50% drop chance and +30% artifact drop chance for a total of +95%.
you have +80% drop chance and +100% artifact drop chance for a total of +260%.

my normal artifact/snowflake ratio is around 1/1.5 yours is around 3.5/1.
but we also have to take in account luck and the fact that i didn't grind as much as you so my data is less significant.

My final tally was 31 normal artifacts to 9 snowflakes. Maybe the drop rate is 3.5 to 1.

Those numbers seem insane to me. I guess playing on IWBTH is a mistake, lol. Oh well...

Play on normal if you want more Artifact drops.

Normal difficulty -> Longer runs

Longer runs -> More drops

More drops -> Higher chance of an Artifact dropping.

Artifact dropping -> Profit. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Only 78...some people with less luck would like to strangle you(not me, I've got the whole set on the second day of the event).

[Glittering Snowflake] seems to be the least wanted Snowlflake judging by WTS section.

I don't think 78 is that much. I'm pretty sure some other players have much more than I do. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

From stamina 79 and below takes its time to burn out. And yeah, you need a pretty healthy supply of Energy Drinks to grind a lot.

I play as a melee character. Estoc + Heavy.

if you want to grind at low difficulty it's a waste to do it with "great" stamina.
when you have 80+ stamina you lose it 5 times as fast.

you don't gain credits in GF/IW so you don't benefit from that part of the great stamina bonus.
you are doing them at low difficulty so you don't really need the damage bonus.
at low difficulty you get low exp so this bonus is also kinda wasted.

I've been using up a lot of them, I'm running pretty low on them. I think I'm down to 81 Energy Drinks. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)

After about 24 hours of switching between grind/arena/item worlds (give or take), ive grabbed Twinkling, Glittering, Shimmering and Sparkling snowflakes.


The arena snowflakes were the first ones I found, they were pretty easy, just missing the Gleaming snowflake from grindfest and the Item World snowflakes appear to be the biggest pains in the asses to find.

Just noticed that strangely when I'm above 79 stam, it falls pretty fast, but when it's 79 and lower, it drops rather slow.

I think I may start grinding IW/Gridnfeast to shit & lolz to increase my heavy & 2h proficiency ( grinding on Flimsy IW is also a nice way ).

Alright! Just bagged the last snowflake from grindfest, and it was only on the 22nd round of GF. Now I just gotta find those damn item world snowflakes. From the way people are talking, might get desperate near the deadline and shell out for the scintilating

as i said just a few post before, each point of stamina lets you play 20 rounds at "great" level.
at normal stamina you can play 100.

Well, I had a break not so log time ago, besides I don't read every page of Wiki ;p. Still, I don't quite understand pricing of gear here in WTS section.
