Looking from mine and other peeps' drop rates I'd wager that this event had RNG in what category you'd get lot of drops(to foster trade, I'm assuming). I got lot of gf ones, HNTI got lot of arena ones....

in first day i got 4 arena snowflakes , 2 day - 0, 3 day - 0.
almost same with iw. 1 day - 1, 2 day - 0, 3 day - 0.
almost all my snowflakes i got from gf

I had not much problem getting the Snowflakes from Arena and IW. I got 2 of each of those. The Grindfest ones were the ones I had problems with. I did at least 500 GF rounds in the first 5 days. The 6th days I went straight to GF to get the 3 snowflakes from there. I got 1 after over 600 rounds. I did a few hundred more and all I got were the normal artifacts. I ended up buying the last two to complete the set.

I was expecting to get way more snowflakes since the event was on, but I got more normal artifacts than snowflakes this past week.

The events over but out of curiosity, what did you guys get from the set bonus?

Nothing yet, wait a bit....

well, on the first day of events I thought that the artifacts are raining like crazy, 5 glittering, 1 shimmering from arena (FB - endgame), then all IW snowflakes within 1 run of 100 rounds IW, and all GF snowflakes only on 120+ rounds

Then almost completed a set only in first two days

but after that nothing drops anymore, even after spending a few EDs

aaaaaaargh gimme my ED back :'(

Just because you didn't get *extra* drop doesn't mean the ED wasn't well-spent or that you didn't get the usual rewards (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif).

Besides, EDs are cheap anyway (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Because I was mainly doing them for 3 days xD ? If you took a look at WTS section you might notice that many people did like me as Snowflakes from arenas were the the most common. A side effect of daily routine whereas doing Grindfeast or IW requires some sacrification of one's stamina (I'm almost out of ED (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)). Got only 1 Snowflake from Gridfeast and 0 from IW (600-800 rounds).

@ED cheapness : Dunno about it.

I ran IW, GF and over a dozen arenas with not one stinking snowflake and only 2 normal artifacts (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Yeah, I think they stopped dropping at Dawn Monday, we just had that extra day to trade for sets and Shrine them.

Yeah, it was kind of fun. I think I have never played so much HV in my life, I'm 10 levels higher than at the beginning of the event.

Is there any info on the set bonus yet? All I've found is this, can someone confirm it?

You're kinda high level so why don't you try forging that awesome blade of supreme epic-ness , it shouldn't be too much trouble for you to start forging your gear considering you got to Lv10 in ItemWorld

I kept buying the snowflakes I saw in the bazaar from time to time. I checked my credits logs and found I bought ~20 of them in total since they were only 2K each.

I didn't get a complete set I don't think. I also haven't been around here for these events before, so I never even thought of trading.

So how good are the actual rewards usually?

I ended up with 8 energy drinks, ~5 hath, 6 or so stats bonuses, and a ton of crystals. So I can't complain. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I don't for two reasons:
1.) Ragingheart not me maxed the awesome blade of supreme epic-ness as you so epically described it yourself.
2.) He gave it to me on layaway of which I still have two payments left before it's mine and until it is I'm not going to Forge it.


By the by is anyone else experiencing a considerable amount of lag this morning? Who forgot to feed Tenboro his magic grass that he's now noming on the HV wires? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
