Seriously, it makes me roll my eyes how many of the newer guys here beg for free stuff/credits. There were no "free shops" back then either. There was the occasional raffle, but that's it. What I'm afraid of is this new generation of spoon-feeding and hand-holding will spawn a bunch of players already in their lvl+200s still begging for items/credits.

Some not all, I know a few people who hit around level 250, and said fuck it they are happy.

Well that might be with the "NEW" generation, I came along in the gap of it.
I have played the old old one, and it was a bitch.
Than I played it when it was starting to get a little better.
about a year after that, I jumped in, than it stayed that way for some time, Till Tenboro gone updated happy.

I'm not gonna lie, YES the New generation has it more easy than the old.
But it's a game, like with most games the older they get, the easier they ten to get.

Tbh the game isn't really tough these days. "Good enough" gears are plenty and cheap. As for awesome gear, it's always been extremely expensive. Just think of Hito's staff. It'd probably cost something like 80-100 million credits now, considering how hath prices have risen.

On the other hand it's quite a bit easier to get credits now compared to before.

There is huge gulf between players, yes.

There are hugely overinflated prices for relatively poor equipment in shop/auctions, yes.

There is less and less credits opportunities for newbies with each patch, yes.

Believe me, I know the pain in particular when not playing much.

Still it was MUCH, MUCH harder 3 years back when I started playing. Just paying Credits to enter Arena and losing all of invested Cr when defeated. When I think of a dread I experienced losing few scavenged credits I had, brrrr.... Mostly played GF then, because Arenas with little of no credits were too perilous.

Of course at some stage donating was an option and I took it. Definitively it smoothed the passing between ~200-300.

So,to sum up. Patience is your friend. Train Adept learner and Scavenger only (more drops, even if shit drops it still is worth something). Good luck on your journey. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

It took from October 2010 to 25 July 2011 for me to hit level 100, and now you have people hitting level 200 or 300 in just a matter of weeks. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) It's not like I seldom played either; I did all of my arenas every day and spent extra time in IW and Grindfest. I think I was slow by old standards too...but I didn't really help myself by being a melee until around level 70.

There was a wealth gap between players back then too. There is always going to be a wealth gap in online games. That's just how things are. Your only options are to be patient, play more (or pay), and improve yourself by investing your time and credits wisely.

You can do it now. Without Perks. Just 3 mobs and you will level up.

Back in my days you have to kill and kill and kill and kill and kill and your EXP barely increased.
Now you get Plenty of EXP thanks to IWBTH and Monster PL Exp Boost. Also Crazy Dawn Exp.

The leveling up is now way faster than it used to be.
I don't remember when I started playing, only thing I know is I stopped twice ; one of these time being because I was sick of getting OHKO by Apathetic Canuck's special.

When I started playing again back 3 or 4 months ago, I was amazed how easier and faster the game had got. Plus now the wiki can give you pretty much all the info you want, I don't remember it having this much info.

No pain no gain. No grind no credits/crystals/equips.

i dont understand how you get that less exquisite items? i get around 10 a day (well 99% are useless) maybe you just need to increase the dificulty

No, we don't. It doesn't matter how many Exquisites, Magnificents, and Legendaries you get per year—if it has the wrong suffix and/or low rolls in the important stats, it's junk.

if I assume sapling is worth 4k.
i average around 1-2k worth of crude-fine crap...

so I earn around 15k?? daily if I get the time to play...

I get 1-2 exq. a week... 1 mag in career....

Just magenuke every Arena. It is fast.
Doing Arena 1 up to T&T should give you at least 100 k even if your Trainings are shit.

Or use h@h. It will also help very tiny bit.
