I do not know if this is the right part of the forum to talk about this; but I do feel the need to address it:

I've noticed, that as a poor player; getting "good" gear is getting harder, and harder. Since A: Drop rates are abyssal; and B: Training the proper things in the HVerse takes an obscene number (from my perspective) of credits to even start noticing a slight bump in drop rate and quality.

In the mean time; the individuals that have thus far, gotten to that level and are receiving good drops (or at least more then a few exquisites a year,) have the ability to sell them for enough credits were they can then start spending credits in player shops and auctions for gear that may not even be as good as the gear they already have; often buying the gear for their own shops to sell at even higher prices; or just to horde.

This makes it even harder for players like myself; and even poorer players - to get better gear without really have to go through obscene ways to get it (or get very lucky with trophies/gifts from players.) Currently; I have about a dozen months bringing me about 50-150K a week (when I'm lucky) in CR from materials; and I get about 20-30K in CR from all my arenas that I have time to do per a weak. Most of this goes into training; and I've found my 3rd Equisite...junk.

I've only been able to sell a few pieces of equipment for profit, and those were all from being in the Bazaar that I Was lucky to buy them (the Superior Power Armor of Slaughter I auctioned off recently being an example.)

To that point, the number of credits I need to invest into training means that I will be unable to really get anything out of it latter as my gear won't be able to stand up to the difficulties required to get the good quality drops. Similarly, if I get good gear now...I can't afford it anyway - won't be able to train up the various modifiers for drops and then I can do higher difficulties, but my drops will still be crap. Seeing multiple drops of Superior Phase Boots of Heimdall drop; and then finding out they have worthlessness; and that even selling them to the Bazaar or scavenging them really won't help; gives the feeling that this game is skewed to the older players; in the very high levels.


I could be wrong; but on my last dozens of trophies netting me only longswords; and my 3 exq, and multiple superior drops being all worthless; while I attempt to bid in an auction only for certain noticeable players to out bid me time and time again. Seriously, I think I've seen either unkownz or Silentist or Treesion or piyin outbid me on just about everything I've ever tried at. And gear not being sold at auction is A. either overpriced for what it is, or too far out of my reach to the point of the above paragraph.

It can't be helped I am afraid. You just have to progress slowly that's all you can do unless some kind soul donate you million credits and superb gears which is very unlikely. I started playing this game from January this year so I am still a noob myself lol I still struggle to do lot of stuffs but hey you can't do much just take things slowly and move forward bit by bit. As you progress things will get better. Regarding trainings just train what really important right now. For equipments play on low level until either you able to buy good gears or get them from drops.

One thing you have to remember all the rich/high level players you see started just like us from nothing (except for catgirls (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)) and gradually they climbed to top.

So bottom line is just keep going and sooner or later you will get what you wish. Good luck

Stop complaining already and play some more ; don't spend all your credits on training and expect to be able to buy stuff Exq+.
Same as xcaliber I've been playing since January, I've obtained some OK gear and I know I still gain power just by leveling since I can slowly up the difficulty.

I think the drop bonus from higher PL mobs justifies trying to lvl up faster anyhow.

Once you get to that level, go and farm all your arenas for credits.
Players "back in the day" didn't have it easier either. There was a time when Exquisites were ridiculously rare. Now they're dropping left and right, hell I get like 20 Exquishits a day.

Either spend some money for the "pay to win" advantage (the Catgirls + Hath moguls) or spend a shit-ton of time in this game (ex., Sushi).

Yup, donate 1,000$ USD ( I can't afford it >,< ) or some equivalent currency in bitcoins.

Or spend ton of time in the arenas, and slowly progress. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I am just actively playing my char lately and it sure got better but needs a lot of time to spend.

Tips :

1.Sell ALL your unneeded items, often superior, fine, or even junk exquisite and magnificent to bazaar. Except a (rare) player want to buy it. I bet you have a lot items.

2.Don't spend your credits on expensive training yet. Wait slowly until you have enough credits. and strive to have it little by little.

3.Your first goal is to reach lv.200 and you'll have yourself a lot of arenas to spend your time and gain credits as well, meanwhile getting token of bloods to spend on Ring of Blood

Going by your signature you have much better training than I did at your level (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) .

Should spend about 100k on each piece of gear, then you will easily be able to clear high level arenas. (I haven't spent that much on gear yet and can do nintendo difficulty). Then do as much as you want. You should be getting way more from arenas than 20-30k/week. Try mage if you don't play much, it will let you clear arenas much much faster.

I also think you are overtrained for your level. I normally attempt high cost training when I get paycheck (a.k.a. prize of beating new arena or ROB). I consider myself a "poor" player here.

In the few months I've played I've only gotten a few exquisites, a magnificient (plate) and a legendary (leather). I've bought the majority of my battle items and current armor from shops or auctions, but maybe I have advantage cause I play DW with plate. I've payed beetween 10k-40k for piece or armour (at mpmpmpmpmp's auction) and I carry exquisite and magnificient armour (improving at the moment).

Weapons: A superior ethereal shortsword of slaughter for 12k from piyin's and an exquisite ethereal wakizashi of balance for 4k from madvvv (I was a newbie when I got the wakizashi and I still use it)

In my opinion to get exp fast and cheaply, you have to do the event battles in IWBTH (or BT if you can't win the battle with all your items) and low level arenas in IWBTH. There's also that freeshop from wolfgirl if you want to experiment different styles. I think you have to adapt yourself when you are poor here.

As others say, higher levels will let you get more money and you can always invest in your armour at good prices if you are just looking for something better than what you'are carrying, not the best equipment yet.

Why spend money on training that takes years to pay off when you can just buy the gear right now? You've been registered for 2 years and yet you aren't even 200 yet. It took me less than 4 weeks to reach 200. I never took others' equipment or money yet I can still complete rounds. Good drops are rare, get over it. You can buy an exq set of decent quality in whatever playstyle you want with the clear bonus alone that will let you finish arenas at least on BT.
