I've had quite the passion for games since I was little but the price of games these days make it harder to keep it up. Being a poor college student doesn't help. I might have to drop it for my wallets sake.

I don't see myself stop playing games at all.

Maybe i'll stop buying new consoles, or maybe games, but not stop playing.

Yes you're right, especially there are many, many cracked games this day (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Starting university and a sex life hasn't managed to stop me. Hell, I game a bit more now that I have real-life company for it. I don't see 'growing out' anytime soon.

OP, I have the same concern as you. I used to love playing games when I was younger and was a huge fan of console games. But now that I've "grown up", it seems that I no longer have time for all the great titles that keep coming out. I still pre-order and buy them because I've been wanting to play them, but it seems like I just can't bring myself to sit down, get off of the computer, and play my games like I used to. They are mostly just lying around in my house along with my PS3, Wii, 3DS, and PS Vita.

Perhaps it could be because our attention spans are now shorter because of how the Internet rewires our brain (read The Shallows by Nicholas Carr if you're interested in this topic) that we can no longer spend long amounts of time reading, playing games, or just focus on one activity.

I don't think I'll ever quit, but I definitely don't play as much as I used to.

Getting tired of video games? Not for a while..
So much games so little time.. even now I have a very big backlog, and counting for the games that haven't been released, and new titles coming.. I don't think I will ever get tired of playing games..

I don't think so, though I sometimes really don't feel like playing anything.

Nope, I love video games and been gaming since I was very young and my first console was the NES. As newer generations of consoles and games are released I'll probably wait longer to buy one since they're very expensive and I don't know what the library of games will be but that won't stop me from enjoying previous generations on a daily basis!

I even considered going to school for video game design and I still might.

Probably not, its a good way to relieve stress as long as your not one of those types that take them too seriously like my friend, I mean come on its a game it's meant to be fun and if some one makes you mad in a multiplayer game like a fps noob just laugh it off then kill them in the most humiliating way possible

Its bit of a rollercoaster for me... (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

Sometimes I want to get my game on and never quit playing. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool2.gif)

other times, startingg a game is a chore... (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif)
