That it used unreal engine 5 was an immediate red flag lol

1.) Everyone will get tired of doing the same activity at one point. Particularly over generations of games. Eventually the games aren't boring and you do the same shit over and over. It becomes tedious and not worth the effort. You really want to spend 150hrs playing x game? Eventually the answer becomes no.
2.) You can't do everything. If you read, you aren't likely to watch a movie.
3.) The tastes changes as you age. Particularly as you lose the ability to play games as patiently as you once did.

That's not something that happens with age. That's just brainrot people have gotten from spending 8 hours a day on Tik Tok. If anything age makes people more patient.

After playing The Binding of Isaac for 6 hours, I want to say: Yes.

Not really, I tend to play sporadically and switch between games often, which helps keep them from getting stale.

i think theres a certain moment you feel like you played everything. I think diversifying genres should help, trying new things out or even other hobies

Honestly no -- I'm slowing down on games but they're still a big part of my life.

1. Wrong.
2. Wrong.
3. Wrong.

The busier my life gets, the more precious my gaming time becomes and the more I appreciate it.

Maybe. I find it really hard to get interested in new games these days, but I'm still going strong with my favorites.

To be honest, I am tired of video games, not because of the "I'm an adult" but because the business behind video games and what it has become just... *exhale*

I'm tired to see the last generic FPS or football game been sold millions with "hey buy our 40 euros/dollar Messi or i don't know who player ON TOP of the 70 bucks you allready put on" or "hey buy our latest console... well... BUY is a great word, just buy the rights to use as WE want you to use it and if we want it, we block you...

The last game I really enjoyed playing was BG3; now, I don't really play. Sometimes FF14 because I love the story and the gameplay... but that's it.

But I'm tired...

After more than 30 years of gaming, I'm tired of games... And to be honest, it's partially our fault.

I keep seeing this sentiment. Nothing is really preventing us from playing old games, no? Absolutely do boycott and avoid shitty practice of current day gaming. But you can always go back and play what you liked 10 years ago. Like I mostly buy 2-3 new games (and 100% all of them) each year nowadays, and most of my time is spent on games that I didn't get to play when I was younger, or replaying games that I played.
Can't really deny the "our fault" part, though what I have more in mind is us letting the tourists in 15 years ago and gaming going all woke and shit in the past few years. I still have strong faith in the indie/doujin scene though.
