I've stopped playing so many games or watching many movies. Everything is just on repeat with the same stuff, the same mistakes and same problems. They are not really worth the attention.

Yes, IDK why, but doing anything other than work feels like wasting time.

Not just games, but movies and pretty much all media I've gotten tired with. Some time during the corona lockdown I just was hit by the feeling that really none of it matters.

More than that I became angry at media for trying to sedate me, so I got rid of all electronics besides my phone and laptop.

I kept my electronics, but my newest thing is still quite old now.

I do, especially when I've been playing the same game over and over and there is no new games with a catchy story, sometimes I find one, but the game ends up being too short.

Goes in cycles for me. Long periods where I won't play anything, then days on end where all my free time is used playing vidya.

I find gaming to be a pleasurable experience when it is being treated as a reward and not something we simply have easy access to. Typically, I would do it by working hard in real life and then playing a game of my choice by the end of the week. The overall encounter is a lot more rewarding when you know you have done enough to actually pay the bills at the end of the month, and then some.

To be honest, the more games i play, the easier it is to be aesthetically fatigued, but if there is still a refreshing game in the future, I am still like to try it.

Can't see it happening. There's simply too much to explore, see, and do. Gaming is so vast that all it takes is a genre switch and I can be back into it. Of course, my ADHD ass can't stick to one thing, hence why the versatility of the gaming world is so amazing.

Definitely not, the only thing stopping me from playing more is having to work and my general depression

Not completely no, I don't play a lot nowadays, probably only 1/20th of what I used to do (a session once a week/few weeks). Just becoming completely selective on which games to play, youtube really helps a lot with the decision making... But you can never go wrong with revisiting the classics.

yes i can see now why people just want quick and short games. it's hard for me to finish these long games since they can't keep up the tempo. Also learning 50 mechanics for every new game is getting a chore.
