I used to play games simply for high scores & trying to beat them on the sega Saturn, psone and so on. Then they seemed to be all about multiplayer of story driven and I never got a sense of achieving anything. Games like call of duty with campers or people grasping YouTube to exploit glitches pretty much killed the idea of ever playing multiplayer games again. Now I pay games out of sheet desperation as I've nothing else to do

Not likely but the free time that they eat today is nothing like 5 years ago that and games like WoW and other time heavy consuming ones never struk with me.

I dont play as much as I once did, but I still play. Also being an adult sucks

I don't, no. It's a nice way to just space out for a bit and let your mind wander into a made-up world

Seeing as there are very few games that are actually fun I can see myself doing something else in the future.

Seems unlikely at this rate. I don't (usually) have a huge backlog of games, but there is usually one game at any given time that holds my interest, and I see no reason that won't continue for years to come.

Nah, I'll probably be playing games like Civilization and Total War until the day I die (or go blind). I'll probably lose interest in AAA explode-fests eventually though.

A fun game is going to be fun no matter how old you are. If you're getting burned out of games, it just means you need to find some better ones to play.

Tired? No, I don't seem to get tired of DotA/Dota 2... maybe there are weeks where I don't care about it, but it's always nice to come back. But I can see me not caring about other games, although once in a while I think I would like a audiovisually stimulating game or a nice adventure. Stuff like this will keep trumping watching a movie passively for me.

Too busy for it? That's a possibility.

Im never gonna get tired of playing any video game.
But Im scared that I won't have enough time for them later in life.

I've been fearing this would happen to me, but there is always one game that manages to hold my interest and attention for a while - so I don't see it happening anytime soon for me.

Came here to say hell no, but it is true that I have cut back a lot lately. I just can't ever imagine a time where I would "grow out" of video games. If I do, hold a funeral because I just haven't realized I am dead yet at that point.

I think I will be playing video games for a long, long time.

Figuring that I've been playing all my life, i cant see me stopping in the near future. Who knows when I'm older maybe I won't, but there are so many awesome games coming in the near future so no way i'm stopping anytime soon.
