I like the fact that everybody's not running around with the same shit basically. It makes the equipment more interesting, like "holy shit I can't believe I got this awesome/terrible roll on this". 1. If you call an Enzo a mass-produced car, I'd really hate to think of what you call a limited edition. Something that was hand-crafted by Carol Shelby, just before he went to meet his Maker, perhaps. 2. Everybody's NOT running around with the same shit. You're a Light (Shade) DW. I'm using Heavy (Plate Protection) 1H+Shield, Light (Mixed Shade+Kevlar) DW, Heavy (mixed Shield+Power) 2H and Cloth (Mixed Gossamer+Phase) Staff. There's probably someone running around with Cloth 1H+Shield. And yes, I'm using Slaughter equips, but someone else is probably using Balance. Yet another person is using a Longsword rather than an Estoc. Higher quality equipment does not mean a lack of variety, much less what I'm asking for, which is equipment where their stats more closely match their name. 3. Quality is NOT relative. If a Legendary dropped from my next battle, that estoc is gone (but will probably be in my sig for a while, since I'm lazy and don't update it). Better stats are better stats. A faster car is a faster car; you may not *want* speed, because you value reliability more, but the fact remains.

Meh, this is starting to feel like the same stuff that was said in the suggestion thread conversation a few days ago. Anyway back to my point, I'm fine with how quality is determined on equips currently (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) . Now that I've thought about it I think minor tweaks to phase might be needed but that's it. Like maybe increasing the importance of EDB on phase when determining quality and lowering the importance of mitigations.

EDB on phase problem stems from the range being way too small afaict. The difference between good and bad is fractions of decimals, so the full spread of values depending on quality just doesn't show up, making it very random as to if it will be good.

You are expected to buy IA and put spark of life on the first autocast slot.

To fix not immediately obviously broken formulas and settings?
Honestly, agility was significant enough to make avions briefly outdamage giants aka the build with the most HP. Adminpony could have made AGI give parry/resist boost ~equivalent to the damage boost it gave(it also may be equivalent due consecutive failure, if so, idk). I assume he decided to spare the players of that and will be changing what AGI does on monsters, planned to happen before monster lab bestiary is 50% giants.
The fact that you could "cap" AGI kinda pointed out it's brokeness and new system makes speed calculations much simpler at the very least. Setting priorities of balancing first towards players then monsters is much easier than doing everything at once after all.

This is how I feel currently. Last monster of an arena fight and they evade while casting a spell. I have to waste a potion just to avoid being killed by that ONE monster.

I had 3 hourlies on IWBTH were one monster remained and it fucking parries/evades with 1% hp or something for 5 turns while oneshotting me with skills and triggering my spark, so i continue attacking thinking one last hit will kill it but noooooo i die instead. /rage
