It does, but I dont feel like pulling up the conversation.

All it does is bring up the floor for equipment, and the floor is really hard to raise far enough to get out of the crude range, no matter what you do.

Tenboro said this a while back. Basically LotD tightens the roll range, IIRC.

So statistically you should get a higher average quality with higher LotD.

But that'll take like many lifetimes to verify (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Tighten would normally suggest increasing min and decreasing max. Does it not only increase min without altering max?

Indeed there's something wrong. There's the individual stats roll somewhere after the equip roll and before the PAB roll (which is affected by LotD),
But it's difficult to tell if the flow on equip's entirely correct anyway.

well, i think the gallery viewer software entry has a problem: IrfanView and picasa are nearly not at same level compare to mangameeya, they are too weak/unsuitable when you put their names equally, this entry is somewhat confuse and mislead the people who have no manga viewer software usage exp

I don't have any official numbers, but I've definitely been getting more mag and leg drops since I raised my LotD several levels. Also with how much it costs to get LotD 25, I really hope it does something, lol (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) .

From 24 to 25? 9,999,999. You can calculate other level's costs with some data.

Well, the most sensible way for it to work is a multiplier to the roll or dice count with an optional ceiling on the roll to retain the same max value.
This way it will show an increase in quality on every single dropped item but no item with higher then max rolls.

An alternative way would be for it just be a floor, that way it has no effect on any item except those so crappy that they fall below that floor, such merch trash would be raised to the new floor and be slightly more valuable merch trash, but still too trashy to ever be worth the investment. If this is how it works then it is a huge trap.

Yes.

Max would be 1, basically the bestest of the bestest.

Though so far I've seen some stuff dropping with >1 quality, so MAYBE it raises the max as well. Not 100% sure.
