I am disappointed.
@treesloth: Your 'speculation' only makes the slaughter binding price rise more. That said, I find that all special mats and bindings are given out ~equally, so the scarcity is only perceived. And if you don't have anything to forge with the low and mid-grade materials your monsters bring you, that's your fault, as it means the monsters are most likely below the value of your gear.
Do you really think what I say (someone who's played this game for only 3 months) can change prices so drastically?
Or could it be that more people are playing, more people are running H@H, more donations are given, hence more Hath is being put into the system, leading to rising prices and obvious inflation? HV is not a closed system, with a fixed number of credits and Hath.
You are overestimating the power of just one player (a noob compared to you, right?). Did I drive the price of Binding of Slaughters from 10 Hath to now 20 Hath by my little lone self? The HV economy is more than just one player. Look at the current auctions, you can see multiple players who are sub 200 level bidding upwards of 1million credits. There is nothing wrong with that, either.
There is simply more demand for Binding of Slaughters than are available. This is not speculation. It's just the law of supply and demand, or did you not know of this simple economics?
So I suggested that to lower the price (which is what most people want), bindings and rare materials should be given out more readily. But something tells me that this is what you're upset about? I am going to guess that you prefer the system stays the way it is so your high PL monsters continually bring you Slaughters to sell at 20+Hath each. To me, it's not healthy for the game if those with limited resources (no Gold stars, no Adopt-a-slot, no H@H) have trouble getting good gear/mats to use. This is why I sell my extra weapons/gear/bindings/materials for very low prices; to help out lower level players. You obviously don't agree with me, so then go ahead and keep lobbying to keep the prices rising.
