I got like 2 rare valuable bindings with my low level monsters, since the Monster Lab was introduced, let alone forging some of my gear, so it's funny how you say I "speculate", but carry on maybe I learn something new.

Actually I haven't collected anything from them during random weeks and wouldn't give a shit if they just up and died because they were filler monsters anyway because the rewards system you have in place for gifts is broken in favor of having many monsters as opposed to having a few strong ones (higher chance for resist bindings anyone? rare materials being a flat chance?) and being a minmaxer I just had to use the opportunity

Really, at least exercise some design sense to avoid situations like this while you nerf the rewards system.

Sacrifice pieces of equipment for food. It's like a reverse shrining.

You could have a flat amount given to players over time (up to a maximum of X unclaimed food items), because that'd help out the people who barely play while not letting people who are banned have any monsters active. You can also reduce the drop rate for 8-hour-a-day players this way.

How about adding Gardening and Pharmacy Tech to the training skills to increase the
respective items drop rates?

Better yet, add Monster Husbandry that combines the two (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Make it about the same cost and levels as the old Karma Amplifier (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Hunger -> so your monster will appear in battles. Replenished by (different types of food)
Morale -> so your monster will give you presents. Replenished by crystals or happy pills.

Tenboro should do the hunger and morale things in parts. Put the stats in place but not allow the drops for a few weeks to get the whining out of the way, or let us get food and pills now so we can be ready when the patch hits to reduce whining then.

My poor 20 pl25 monsters. Lootchip army I will miss you.

What bout normal or let's say heroic difficulty ? Not everyone can clear arena on IWBTH.

BTW Is there any plan to balance prices of materials needed to forging ? From what I've observed people only care to get 2h Ethereal Estoc of Slaughter and buy tons of Bindings of Slaughters (which is why they are so costy). The same goes for Phazons what leads to sitting on mats till you get some Magnificent of Legendary item.

Also noticed there's some plan of making Energy Drinks more rare drop. Does it mean the chances for AP or hath from Artefacts will be increased or Energy Drinks will became normal drops, but with a low drop rate ?

What he doesn't tell is that food will have tiers. So very possibly 10k+ rounds per day for 20 monsters.

@HNTI: slaughter is costly because HTTP inflates prices. (he gets enough of them by himself)

Well he can afford it. I think similar process affects Noodles as 2-3 users buy them in huge number and when one of them increases the price, the rest immediately change it to the similar one(a few days ago 45k -> 50k now). Not that I complain about it (I mostly sell them), but in the end of the day forging is all about Bindings of Slaughter and Phazons.
