Changing passwords and the like only work if the person doesn't have a very sophisticated way of obtaining the info. If there's a bug on your computer it doesn't matter how you try and obfuscate the key.

(IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) There are plenty of free shops where you can look around for stuff from not-hacked accounts. And quite a few shops will give you a discount for being under level 150 or 250 or whatever.
