Well there is only so long I can try and run from it.
I been thinking for over the last few days of quitting HV.
That means also doing away with this shop.
I'm still 50/50 on it there is reason why not to quit and keep doing the shop but yet there is reasons to just quit doing it.
If I do quit I mean hell I had a good run look at it 435 pages that has to be like a record for having a free shop that long.
I have had to send out well over 2,000 items to people.
This shop used to be fun not it just feels like a non-stop job.
It's just lots of things people will see how everything turns out in the next few days to a week.
If I close the shop for good it's been a long run had fun and happy to have helped you all.
If I keep the shop up and running it might just be a weekend kind of shop thing.
Thank you for your kindhearted service *bow*
And thank you for helping me and the other newbies.
I respect whatever decision you made, and wish you luck in whatever you do in life.
Anyway, just in case if you decided to continue the shop, I have a few suggestion that might help reduce the burden. Maybe the advertisement in the other shops need to be stopped for example. Another thing is to change the title of the thread completely when its closing time, instead of changing the "closed/open" thing. They might reduce the amount of newbies leechers(me included I guess). Even I am kinda irked when I see the newbies keep asking for equipment when your shop is closed (IMG:[

Also, maybe you can transfer the list of equip to somewhere else (maybe your own spam thread?) and keep the front page blank when the shop is closed. or if you decided to keep it, make a post every time you close the shop that say "The request after this post will not be accepted" and just ignore the one who ask for equip for disrespecting the closing time. I have a few more suggestion but if I say any more it might make me look like I pressured you to keep the shop open, miss.
Anyway, whatever you do, I wish you good luck, and thanks.

That's easy:
Instead of selling to bazzar have an option to "Donate to newbie shop" if the item is Superior or above. Allow all players under level XXX to pick XXX pieces of equipment free each day. The pieces taken are marked in the database so they cannot be sold, traded, salvaged etc and can only be either used by the player, stored in the inventory or returned to the free shop for another player. Other limits and rules would be pretty simple to implement
thats a good idea. although my suggestion is a bit different. maybe it can be made so that a newb can only take 1 equipment for every slot each week?(except for weapon, which is 2) but I dont know if weekly count is possible. Also, another thing is maybe after some moment in time, e.g. 14 days or whenever, the equipment can be unlocked to be sold or whatever. iirc the bazaar has a limit system that purged the equipment when they reached the limit, and I an imagine that if mr Ten impliment the newbie shops, the same thing will bi implemented. So if someone somehow got a really great equipment from the newbie shop, after a while, preferably when he or she got better equipment,s/he can sell it or give to other new newbies directly instead of putting it back to the shop(where the shop might remove the equipment when the limit is filled)
just my two cent
