Yeah there's lots of fucked up laws all over the place, most of the world is a fucking hellhole. What turns people into criminals? There's always been insane people but most criminals I think are not much different from other people really, the conditions they've had to deal with makes the difference. If there's no jobs and no welfare and no nothing well I think that's a breeding ground for crime. To say US is the gun nut of the world is to put it mildly. In 2011 the US sold 78% percent of the worlds arms, it is the global NRA. On the part where you go on to describe the US welfare system I can only agree.

Well the US government is completey fucked up because it has been completely hijacked by corporations. Things like that are starting to happen over here as well. Sweden was the last european country to get commercial television channels, which was around 1990. Before that here was only state run television where commercials were and still are forbidden. By now I think about 2/3 of television watched here are the commercial channels which I think have played a major role in dumbing down people here.
