The malware I've had to deal with in most cases didn't activate unless I mistakenly ran it by eg running some shady program that was infected by it. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif)

I haven't had any viruses or malware since I create the program for my computers. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Once I had to deal with a malware that presented itself as a anti-virus program that had some generic anti-virus program sounding name. The malware began doing some fake full scan that I couldn't stop, I know there's a LOT of different versions of this malware out there that does exactly the same thing. This was the only malware I've ever had that defeated my computer so badly that I needed to reinstall the OS and all the programs again which really pissed me off. I've had to deal with lots of malware but never with one that was so crazy that even anti-virus protections didn't detect it.

However later on I found a youtube video about how to defeat that fake anti-virus program malware so after that I knew how to deal with it when an other laptop I got also got infected. The way to defeat that particular malware was really goofy but it worked, I just had to follow instructions in the youtube video I looked at.

Now I don't know exactly what malware you've got now but if I were you I'd try to work from an other CPU that is clean and has access to the internet so one can look up shit at youtube or google etc. I'd take notice of how the malware behaves, I'd try to write down it's defining characteristics so I can easily find the right solution at youtube or google etc how one's supposed to deal with that malware.

Damn so one time you more are less had to do a full clean up of your PC or laptop.
I hate for me to have to do that the amount of steam games i have that take a few days to redownload them all.
Than all the nice pics have they be gone.
All that would really suck than as well have to go back and MOD the shit out of some of them games.
I have spent days modding out some of them.

I have dealt with it in the past so I known what it was and how to deal with it again.
Was the SAME shit.

well at least you can backup all your files, with some external storage like thumbdrive or what the fuck, I lost all of mine once because of that fake anti-virus malware.

However the second time I had to deal with that fake anti-virus malware that I had on a second laptop, I knew how to defeat it. It began with me going into safe-mode with networking...you know when you start windows you can press F8 or F2 or something like that and you can go into safe mode...some malware can't function under safe-mode
