In a sense, yes.

I've fired a Barrett .50 sniper, a desert eagle, a M16A4, Spas shotgun and a few other guns which I lost track of. I usually carry a few knives with me since I wouldn't need a gun with me.

It was which ever the SWAT was using last year. It hurt pretty bad for the people that didnt shoot the way the instructor was telling us to, I was fine cause I did it the right way.

You have the people who are smart and safe with them and know how to use them right.

I actually live in the US, I'm a Marine remember? There are those who are both of the extremes when it comes to weapons. Those who go around killing people and then the ones that won't touch weapons at all. Then there are people like Wolfgirl and I that know what we are doing and will not use them for things that they aren't needed or meant for.
