QUOTE(43883 @ Feb 27 2019, 10:09) Get someone else to donate for you by working hard (read: contribute regularly or play HV, the latter can make you fat rich if you have too much time).
$20 should be peanuts. Something like 8-10m credits at most, or 2000-2500 Hath.
Waiting for too long to donate is a bad thing (you get donation rewards each dawn) especially for higher tiers unless you're gambling on BTC value (donating yourself), and only if you value the "catgirl reward" or whatever. Having an aqua name and some shitty banner isn't my kick, especially if I decide to magically have it turn red at some point, which will override any other color.
How would getting someone to donate for you work? Wouldn’t the donation perks go to them?

They transfer the bitcoins to your donation address rather than their own. Also the $20 tier is probably closer to 12-15m credits than 8-10m QUOTE(Cipher-kun @ Apr 16 2019, 14:24) Make a post in the WTB section https://forums.e-hentai.org/index.php?showforum=78 something like [WTB] Gold Star @ 50m (or whatever the current market rate is, use search to find out maybe) and wait and see if someone bites, assuming you have 50,000,000 credits. Alternativly check out the WTS subform and see if anyone is selling them. From there the process is you send the person the 50m credits (or whatever you agreed upon) along with your E-H bitcoin wallet address (there's a tool to send them a message, use that) Then they send you the $100 bitcoin donation to your address. Then using the donation page you claim the $100 of donation. This post has been edited by Cipher-kun: Apr 22 2019, 08:53

Hello, I am afraid I am much too bad with computers and all to figure out bitcoin. I still want to donate 100 usd. Is there anyone I can speak to about this, maybe an admin I can show 100usd on my paypal and then just have them use their btc and then snag my 100usd to help me out? I just am unable to find any legal way to do it where I live that is beyond my abilities. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

From the first post in this thread: QUOTE(Tenboro @ Feb 24 2013, 15:27) Note that it is not possible to transfer coins out from this wallet, so make sure to not send more than you want to donate.

I'm planning to donate, but I'm completely undecided on which Exchange I should use. Since Bitstamp and Coinbase are international and the largest, I will probably use one of them. I'm reading the terms, but I'm just not sure. I'm wary as hell to give my bank account to them, and Coinbase appearently requires a picture, which is something I absolutely don't want to give. Any recent experiences with Bitstamp?

I've used Coinbase. I haven't had any issues with someone trying to steal my money or have identity theft, so you're probably gonna be fine. Your photo is purely for verification purposes. Plus, I believe Coinbase requires two-factor for logins and transferring money, so your account ought to be pretty secure.

Thanks for your answer. I'm afraid verification will take longer than I expected, but it can't be helped.

I ended up using Gemini, and all went smoothly. Easy linking to my online bank account. ID verification completed in less than an hour. Reaching 2 confirmations on the BTC withdrawal took 25 minutes. The longest process was the ~5 business days for the pending bank transfer to be fully completed before the BTC could be withdrawn.
They do allow you to buy BTC at the current price while the transfer is pending though, so if you are into price speculation, you can buy during a short-term dip in price like this past Saturday, and by the time your transfer is verified your BTC could be worth a lot more. To make things quicker in the future though, you would want to keep a balance of USD in Gemini so it's ready to be used. USD deposits are FDIC insured at Gemini like a bank so any deposits are safe. No real risk in that, since they allow easy transfers back to your bank account as well.

Your E-Hentai wallet is receive-only. Otherwise the other person pasted incorrectly.

I understand gallery wallet address is receive-only, what I meant is, i tried to send star to my address, it worked fine, which eliminate the problem on my end the other person used the gallery system to send address to me, it is a gallery system generated PM, unless the system pasted incorrectly.... help...... QUOTE(Maximum_Joe @ Sep 1 2019, 09:52) Your E-Hentai wallet is receive-only. Otherwise the other person pasted incorrectly. I'm the person in question. I've sent the wallet addresses both through the gallery and manually copy-pasting. All I noticed that within my wallet address changed on its own twice in the last 12 hours. I only realized the change when ryuseii informed me that he cannot transfer the funds.

Heh. You hit a very unlikely case where parts of the Bitcoin address matched a word filter, which screwed it up. Service accounts should be exempt from the word filter now, so try reloading the PM and pasting it again. (The odds of this happening was about 0.0021% so you may want to pick up a lottery ticket or something.)

QUOTE(Tenboro @ Sep 1 2019, 14:15) (The odds of this happening was about 0.0084% so you may want to pick up a lottery ticket or something.) I confirmed this. Everytime I use the "preview message" function while PMing the address changes on its own in the preview. And the receiver kept getting the wrong address. It's just my bad luck. Edit: Problem solved. Thanks for the help. This post has been edited by Vexxille: Sep 1 2019, 08:50
