Well, it seems that Circle no longer is a Bitcoin vendor

Circle hasn't been doing Bitcoin for some time, for some reason they decided to try to become PayPal instead.

The "no porn allowed" clauses you find with some of these exchanges are pointless CYA to play nice with the payment services *they* use. It's not like we put up giant "HERE BE PORN" signs next to the EH wallet addresses.

As usual, I am behind on the times.
That aside, do you think they will still be a viable payment option here?

Only if you happen to still have some coins on there.

No coins, just ten bucks I deposited to test things out. I guess I'll go back to using Coinbase then. It's how I've rolled since the beginning.

Having trouble buying bit coin via coinbase, keeps asking me to verify my address, i put my billing address in and get "Your rate limit for editing billing addresses has been exceeded. Please wait 24 hours and try again." every single time, it's been a few days now, dont understand what I'm doing wrong. Don't think i'd need to do as much work as I have to give money away (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

That is likely a question for coinbase support. And it is a decent question since you actually phrased it well.

Friendly reminder to change your passwords on these services if you're using them (some of them already require a password change):

Finally get the verification through on coinbase.com, soon as I do the 2 small charges bank froze my card because one charge came from the UK (had to call in to unfreeze) is this normal ( and is there an easier way for me to give you guys my money? Been over a week and several hours of my time trying to donate 100$)?

I use/d coinbase with no problems....well, I say that, but yeah, it took me a day or two (or three, don't remember now for sure (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) ) with that 24 hour wait / two transaction verification thingy, but it was me, just operator error, what can I say.........so yeah, it just sounds like you've had a bit of bad luck is all, I'd guess once you get this out of the way it'll smooth out.

One thing that comes to mind is that you're saying it was for $100, which (at least on my account) is what's set as a "weekly card limit", so maybe if you were doing the max right off that had something to do with it having to go through a longer process.

Good luck on it, I'm sure you'll be fine (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

It can be a bit of a hassle to do the initial verification for an exchange, especially for credit card usage, but unfortunately we don't currently have any other way of accepting donations.

So i think i MIGHT be able to finally buy bit coins within next 24 hours, question; donations page says there a 10% bonus, so do i have to donate effectively 110$ worth of bit coins if i want to hit the 100$ amount?

'tis the other way around. Since you paid some fees on the exchanges to send the donation. Had you started with 100 USD, after the fees you would have bitcoins valued at about 93-98 USD. Therefore the bonus will bump it up by 10% to make up for the fees (resulting in something just above 100 USD).

Ok finally able to buy bitcoin, to make sure i Don't make a mistake and need to wait another 12-24 hours, If i buy bitcoin via coinbase, how do I then make a donation to this site on this account via https://e-hentai.org/bitcoin.php, i see my wallet address but I don't know what to do with it. If i buy bitcoin i believe it goes into my wallet there? I want to make sure i do this completely right.

support.coinbase.com/customer/portal/articles/971437

Simply copy and paste your EH wallet address in the field shown in the above link. Please bear in mind your EH wallet is reception-only.

If everything goes fine, an incoming transaction (after Coinbase's fee has been deducted) should appear on the Donation page ( https://e-hentai.org/bitcoin.php ), and once the transaction has been verified by enough peers (at least three; usually quick for decent amounts, extremely slow for "dust"), it will appear as Confirmed and your balance will be increased accordingly.

The BTC can then be used to make a Donation or Adopt-A-Server. Adopt-A-Server does not count towards donations and there is no going back, so again, make sure everything is set as you want it.

If you applied for a donation, you may have to wait for a little while for stars to show. The same goes for confectionaries if you donated enough for a Gold Star or higher. Hath perks will be immediately unlocked or refunded if applicable.

wesellcrypto.com is a exchange I haven't seen much discussion about. They also accept payments from outside the US, which is a major plus to people like me.

After doing ID verification (which shouldn't be a problem) I'm able to buy up to 250$ on a daily basis, and I haven't had any issues with them so far.

Oh cool, so that was the reason for the PM.

The transaction is coming through. You can check blockchain.info with the wallet number. For example: [blockchain.info] https://blockchain.info/address/1Eb1z5L4Kjm...sL75pUQQSDUjCuK You can even look at the transaction itself: [blockchain.info] https://blockchain.info/tx/65710fe783498a42...2fe7a27999c60b0

It seems to be unconfirmed because it is blocked at the source wallets because of unconfirmed transaction there (so you see some negative values). Nevertheless, you need to wait some more.

(PS. There isn't a problem in showing the wallet number since it is a receive only wallet, i.e. owned by Tenb)
(PSPS. use a decent image host for images on the forums, my browser is Referer rejected to see the images in your post.)

EDIT 1: And it is complete! 78 confirmations as of this edit
EDIT 2: imageshack.us is still giving me HTTP 504 (but it worked for a moment earlier today)

Looks fine in the database, so it's probably just a display bug. Try poking the donation page again, it'll log some additional debug info so I can track it down.
