I emailed them about requesting more banks to be added, and I got a generic response that they will add more banks over time and there is no way to really speed up this process. Here's the list of banks you can use with SNAPCARD.
Hey guys, another stupid question. I used localbitcoins to acquire btc. Everything went smoothly, so I sent them to my ehentai wallet and those btc are still "pending" after 40 minutes of waiting. Am I supposed to wait longer or do I have to click something to receive them? It's my first btc transaction ever, so I'm pretty inexperienced with this stuff. edit/ Ok it's confirmed now. It happened spontaneously.

With Bitcoin, a transaction is usually considered "confirmed" after six blocks with it in the first of those have been mined. The average time per block is 10 minutes, but it can be faster or slower. That means that a bitcoin transaction usually takes about an hour to be irrevocably confirmed.

I've had transaction confirmations take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours; it just depends on the bitcoin network getting around to them.
The confirmations are not related to e-hentai; the global bitcoin network must track and confirm any and all transactions made on the network itself.
A quick update with Circle: their deposits via bank accounts are no longer instant, but will take (at least in my case) 1 to 3 business days, which is still a bit better than most of the options out there. However, they now have an option where you can add a debit card, and that for some reason is instant over a bank account...weird. Debit cards are only Visa and MasterCard though, not that I've seen many other carriers for debit cards out there anyways. Not sure which of these people are more comfortable with. Both bank and debit cards are feeless, and debit cards have the benefit of being instant. Credit cards are still supported (Visa and MC only I believe), but those carry a fee. Circle also posted on their blog something about being able to transfer USD as-is without converting to BTC, thus avoiding the whole market volatility altogether. Anyways, here's the link to the blog if anyone (like the admin) would be interesting in giving this a read: [blog.circle.com] http://blog.circle.com/2015/09/22/us-dolla...le-app-updates/
Just took the debit card purchase for a test-drive. Funds were instant and feeless as promised, so now we wait and see if my Circle account encounters any issues.
I wonder why we have to use BTC but not regular currencies to adopt a server. While donation of normal US dollar is possible, that doesn't mean our community is facing any security threat by accepting donation of normal currencies.

I don't know much but I don't think it's hard unless you are worried about anonymity.
It's not hard to setup a [www.coinbase.com] coinbase account (hardest part to me was linking the bank account). However, if you want to be anonymous, take a look at [localbitcoins.com] https://localbitcoins.com/ . I am not sure if any of the methods on localbitcoin is 100% anonymous except perhaps cash by mail. Any idea?

Bitcoin, by design, is a system of money trails. But as long as you don't go around telling people what the EH wallet address you use for Circle/Coinbase/whatever is, there's no way for them to tell what you're actually sending money to.
Besides, just because there is a chilling effect discouraging payment providers from servicing certain types of sites, that doesn't make them illegal.
