QUOTE(blue penguin @ Jan 9 2015, 03:16) Thanks, I guess we forgot to add it to the wiki. It is from the gallery patch 0.302:
Tenboro is vague as always but I added to the wiki my best guess:
Bronze: More Pages Silver: Lots of Pages Gold: Too Many Pages
If anyone could confirm it that'd be awesome.
I picked up a bronze star and got 140hath refunded (from existing hath perks). So, I think that the bronze stars perks should be correct: Ads-Be-Gone, Tag Flagging, More Thumbs, More Pages. I'll update again when I manage to get silver (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) I see that Helno has already confirmed the silver perks. This page might help: [ howtobuybitcoins.info] http://howtobuybitcoins.info/cn.htmlDidn't really take a close look at them, but it was a top hit in a search. Hope it helps.

It's against paypal's policy to deal with 'adult content', there are significant fines for transgressors.

I suggest Circle or Coinbase. Those are the easiest ways to donate. At least for me.

I was just at the bitcoin ATM in Vancouver (Canada) and it doesn't require any registration, ID, palm scans or phone numbers. It also sends the money straight to your wallet address.
All I had to do was select "buy bitcoins", then show it the QR code on my phone, then insert the money. There's nothing else to it and the entire process was done in a minute. I know this information is only useful to a small percentage of the userbase, but I felt like I should add it anyways.
Also, the toffee frappuccinos there are pretty good.

Virwox works great. Can even use your credit cards (not American Express though, who knows why) to fund your Virwox account. Swap $YourCurrency for SLL, swap SLL for BTC, withdraw to EH Wallet. Blam.
I follow this XD from another bitcoin post.. now just waiting game of 48 hour confirmation... the bitcoin is quite simple enough.. i guess XD *waiting to donate*

QUOTE(CuddleBear @ Apr 23 2015, 21:00) not American Express though, who knows why AMEX allows only a single bank in each country (or sometimes group of countries) to issue their cards, this allows these banks to be assholes in terms of fees. Therefore a lot of people dealing with payments just hate AMEX.

How much fees do you rack up with VirWoX? I tried it once, but I don't think I bought enough and it ended up getting absorbed by fees. And what blue penguin said. American Express charges insanely high fees.

The fees from Virwox aren't too bad. Out of $22, took a total of about $2.92 of fees, which is ~10%. It isn't that bad, but if you have a PPal account and only that, it's the only real way you can do donations, so I'm fine with being charged 10%. Unless there is another way that would allow me to use a Ppal card or a Ppal account, this is fine by me.

10%? Ouch. I'll keep using Coinbase which charges a flat 1%, thanks...

QUOTE p.s how the heck do they know what i using for when i only withdraw it to "EH" bitcoin waller adress... They cannot, the address is generated for you. The best they can do is to take it from some comment you left somewhere or guess. Generate a new address on the donation page and it shall be fine. Or better, make a wallet yourself on your own computer and once the bitcoins are there virvox has nothing to say about it.

Not sure if you've been keeping up with the last few pages of the thread, but Circle is like Coinbase except 0% fees with bank transactions. they're great, given that they don't fuck up and get your account overdrafted. But in my case, the Bitcoins were already here, so...

Much better benefits (extended warranties on electronics, free shoprunner account, insider offers, travel protection, great customer service, etc) if you know how to use their cards right. Once got stuck in a foreign country with all my cash taken. Couldn't get an immediate cash advance from VISA or Mastercard (since I don't memorize cash advance pins), but no problem with AMEX's customer support *waits for his amex astroturfing money* This post has been edited by DGze: Apr 26 2015, 08:09

Costco membership cards are usually in the form of American Express too.
