QUOTE(howard0x0 @ Feb 25 2024, 13:34) I'm using a virtual currency wallet for the first time, but my Bitcoin Cash donation address is showing as invalid. Even after updating the QR code, it remains the same. What should I do to resolve this? Some wallets require you to put bitcoincash: in front of the address, so try that. (It's optional according to the spec.) If that doesn't work, PM me and I'll provide you with a legacy address to send it to.

Try the above (put bitcoincash: before the address), and if that doesn't work PM Tenboro asking for a legacy BCH address. I would recommend against using any converters. This post has been edited by nasu: May 12 2024, 19:05

I would avoid coinbase, tried to do a transfer nearly 20 days later still just pending and value sunk. Had to contact bank to get my money back.

Coinbase is a legitimate company, but most companies may hold back a crypto withdrawal if you have a brand new account and you bought it with a credit card, for fraud prevention purposes. 20 days sounds like a lot, but having to wait a week or so is not uncommon.

So the tech with coinbase is to buy and withdraw a small amount first so if trigger that stuff you don't lose much money?

A hundred bucks probably counts as a "small amount" as far as their fraud screening goes, but you shouldn't lose money regardless, they just hold it for a while due to the fraud potential.

A legitimate company? I suppose, but even though it lets you buy them, I don't think you can send "real" BTC from a PayPal account.

Not a lot can be done when paypal specifically deny sites like this from using them. If you can't do crypto yourself, another option is to earn credits (easiest is probably by playing HentaiVerse), and buying one with credits from another member. Current rates seem to be about ~35m for bronze. https://forums.e-hentai.org/index.php?showforum=78

Hello, I have some problems when I donate, I use the BCH address given on the donation page, no matter whether I add the prefix "bitcoincash:", the platform I use will show the address error, I consulted the technical staff of the platform, he thinks the address is wrong, can you help me to see what is going on? My email address is 815792301@qq.com, I am not good at using web forums, so please write to me by email, thank you.

the part that says
"Send a Bitcoin Cash (BCH) Wallet Address PM"
I'm not understanding what it wants me to do, what should I input in the "Member name:"?

That function is for sharing your EH wallet address to someone else.
You won't be needing that unless you are buying a donation star from other community members. It's mainly there to protect star sellers.

Hello, I was trying to deposit bought BTC to my generated adress, but the first test payment was declined. Now, I'm trying to scan the QR code and it says that it is invalid (although the generated adress was added to my app). I don't know what might by the problem here, but can I somehow restart the adress and QR code attached to it? (I used revolut app, but I guess it should work same as others.)

It wouldn't generate invalid addresses, so that's most likely an issue with the app. You could try creating a legacy address by clicking where it says to do that, in case they still don't support modern bech32 addresses.
