Hah, so Cotton gives a small bonus against cold and wind, and leather gives a small bonus against fire and elec. Totally makes sense.

P.S. I did dabble with Kevlar/Fleet/Arcanist/Shadowdancer 2H set options, and got my ass kicked hard for the same reasons above, only with less mana consumption. Even with Mace.

Also, why is Tenboro suddenly invested in making this game harder than it already was? It's ruining the game for anyone who invested the time into buying certain equipment only to find out it is now worth jack shit.

I invested a lot into my shield of barrier set only to find out that I can't upgrade it anymore, I lose 20% crit with it on, and the p. mit is severely reduced. It makes me wonder why the hell does anyone play as a melee anymore when their fucking equipment keeps getting nerfed? So now I have to spend several thousand on featherweight shards just to make it viable to play with? That sort of defeats the purpose of the goddamned set.

IMO, the drops for upgrading shield equipment should at least remain.

You realize that TenB is eyeing mages right now, yeah? The only reason most of those nerfs/changes haven't gone through is because maging is more closely tied to the ability tree, and it seems like he's just going to clear the slate within a few updates, revamping proficiency, changing the nature of the ability tree, and removing the proficiency bonus to damage.

And there's more down the pipeline. So no, he's not only changing how melee works, he just decided to change melee before working on maging.

I sold off my shield runes to some guy for 44K, I never upgraded shield armor anyway so it was an easy deal to make.

I bought my rapier because it was an astral. If you suddenly convert it to dark or holy, it becomes that much less valuable to me, and suddenly the money I invested in it is meaningless.

Please just leave the stuff with astral as they are.

KXM though, a lot of us have been getting our investments screwed over.

I've had mine screwed over every patch I've seen thus far.

I just complain a bit, change my build, and keep going. Not much else I can do anyways.

Personally, Tenby should make astrals become void if they don't already have void and holy/dark if they do. (With like a 'free' forge upgrade or something)

I'm out of here. The game is no fun anymore. Even on BT I have to cure at least once per round if I'm facing 5+ monsters. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

And drops? HAH, averege, fine, a few superiors and just a few equisites!!! Only bazaar food since people don't even buy exquisites anymore. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

Honestly. Both eth and ele weapons should have no burden/interference or hallowforged should remove burden/interference. Otherwise you get only one good suffix to all and the rest that hurts different variability based on burden/interference from other pieces

Ie it hurts light and low burden and interference builds more to use non eth weapons. Even feathered

How about a new upgrade for weapons: burden/interference reduction. Make it only available for elemental weapons or w/e . Change Astral prefix to give no burden/interference.

I would be happy if just burden was removed, honestly it makes a legendary elemental weapon almost worthless for heavy. I am wearing full power armor alreadya and I have 81.6 burden, the only thing I can hope to reduce my burden is either getting mithril power armor and/or getting power armor with the lowest possible burden roll. And its hard enough getting decent power armor already.
I would like to be able to mix in at least 1 plate to improve my survivability but thats not gonna happen the way things stand.... The best I could do is swap out my boots, but that isnt going to make any real difference.
