QUOTE(MikukoAya @ Feb 26 2013, 00:24) ![*](style_images/ambience/post_snapback.gif) Focus is better for melees, honestly.
Never used focus before. If it is that unreliable I don't understand then why it's in the options. I'd prefer to have a skill button there for the 1H, 2H and DW techniques. I normally think it's a pain to have to look for the skills in the skills choice. I'd like to see a button which lets you use directly 1st tier technique, then 2nd, then 3rd. As when you have used the first one you cannot reuse it till its cooldown time is over, and also you can't use the 2nd without having used the 1st previously, that would work pretty well. QUOTE(pervdiz @ Feb 26 2013, 03:07) ![*](style_images/ambience/post_snapback.gif) It also raises Evade, and the proc chance for DW
If you wear heavy armor now, your evasion will be 0 or pretty close so agility is only useful to a heavy meelee for the critical rate, and then you have dexterity which a lot more benefits. My burden right now with exquisite and magnificient all heavy armor is 74.9. For a heavy meelee I consider it as useful now as intelligence (I put points there just for the extra MP and in agility for the extra crit chance). That's from my heavy meelee standpoint (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

QUOTE(MikukoAya @ Feb 25 2013, 20:06) ![*](style_images/ambience/post_snapback.gif) I think that was the intent... I don't think it quite worked out that way though....
At least we seem to have gained the ability to hold on to buffs longer (through Haste and Hastega), though. It's always been a pain, losing them so quickly; especially on longer battles and campaigns. QUOTE(Mindflayer88 @ Feb 25 2013, 20:19) ![*](style_images/ambience/post_snapback.gif) I would kill for this.
Yeah, so would I. I know that monster level affects experience points, but does it affect drops? Great question for God.

Well... if you are referring to PLVL, yes it does, for every 25 Plvl after 500 it gives an 1% bonus.

Well that was fun. X-attack now increases attack speed by 20%, haste does in fact work as intended and increases attack speed by 50%, and slow decreases attack speed by 50%.
And there was much rejoicing! So much easier to test now!

QUOTE(Anomtai @ Feb 26 2013, 04:28) ![*](style_images/ambience/post_snapback.gif) Question: When is the last time someone has seen an estoc or mace drop or shrined? I've haven't seen either of those in the longest time.
The last couple of noodles and other trophies have given me nothing but longswords and really bad scythes. And longswords are so bad they need to be taken out of the game.

I have been shrining all my trophies since this patch to try to get an estoc to replace my non-eth one. I have shrined almost 100 trophies and I have only gotten 1 estoc a couple of katanas and scythes, the rest longswords..........................

Oh and for those "complaining" about monsters not doing enough DPS now.
End Game scenario
Old: 2x max choas
New: Monster: 10000/(1.5*100)=66.666 action units
1.5 times more attacks then un-chaosed monster 1.5 times more damage then un-chaosed monster 2.25 more damage overall
Will only do 1.5x damage to players with haste vs 2x in old patch (75%)
Will only do 1.25x damage to players with haste and x-attack (this got boosted) vs 1.81x in old patch (69%)
Personally, I think this needed to be done since some of those skill attacks were just beyond rediculous, even with Protection being as bugged as it was.

Should have won in multiples just for having Andy and Ian in it.

You're expecting the Oscars to be anything other than a trashy scripted softcore pornfest featuring plastic bodies and politics so bitter I'm surprised there aren't any stabbings afterwards? I admire your faith in humanity - or at least the version that evolved in Hollywood. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Yeah....Having my spirit shield absorb almost 20k damage from a holy attack in an IWBTH arena is absurd. I have only 10% holy resistance but even if I had 70% holy resistance it would still be taking chunks off my spirit. Even as it is now there is still little point in IW my armor as the resistance's I get on it are not going to make any difference. 1-2 spirit potions is enough for me to get through an IWBTH T&T arena so its not like it is going help me much, and if I am IW or doing a grindfest that 70% resistance only help in the first 100-150 rounds, after that its not going to help. Not to mention the fact that as HP boost is now it actually makes you much weaker. If I had lvl5 Hp boost on all armor it would make things harder as regen2 would now be healing less per hit taken to my spirit shield. As it is now I almost get back half of my HP lost(assuming regen2 heals that turn) if I only take a hit to my spirit shield, but with HP boost maxed I would be getting back less than a third of that lost. Would be nice if HP and MP boost increased base values, that way they would be beneficial.

Ah, I do agree there. It would be nice if the percentage increase was of base values. That would make all the effects far more agreeable to players. Which is why we're not likely to see it happen...

I know... Personally I wouldnt mind if the increase was reduced to 1% per lvl but that 1% increased the base value, because as it is now the HP boost actually makes you much weaker, and the MP boost would only allow you to not lose mana if you used a gem/potion and it would have increased your mana more than you had previously or w/e. The small boost to your reserves if you start with max mana doesnt mean much in a long run. I dont even have my MP tanks all filled in. And with the change to how ET now ticks on the timer it means that while ET is now easier to keep going it is now returning less per player turn so its not like a mage is going to be at max mana very often. I struggle to keep my mana at half way with ET as it is.

HP boost is a gauge, something to raise minimum SP drain level and something to avoid oneshotted. By the nature it works better with SoL - so for mages - but like other things, wanting a thing to be always good takes a bit strategy out of the game, no?
