Let me get this straight. You want me to actually wear Heavy armour that IMPEDES my magical casting ability, INCREASES my cost of using magic, IMPAIRS my movement (i.e. no evade and no phys crit), which at the same time does not PROTECT me from generally being hurt by physical or magical attacks, nor allow me to AVOID the hit???

Sure! If it does the following:

1. Each piece of (let's call it) Baka armour comes with a MINIMUM of 5% specific mitigation across the board. That's ALL specific physical and all elementals, including Holy/Dark. The MAXIMUM for Legendary rolls would be 25%, but they can be forgeable.

2. Each piece automatically gets Juggernaut AND Capacitor with MIN rolls of 10% for both, further upgradeable by IW and forgeable. Legendaries should get 35%.

3. Each piece automatically gets Attack Speed of 5% MIN, 25% if Legendary, stackable by IW and forgeable.

4. Each piece automatically gets ADB and attack crit chance (here I'm not so fussed what the rolls are like), upgradeable by IW and forgeable.

5. Wearing this new armour automatically nets me ALL the proficiency bonuses of all the armour types (but fine, we won't get prof increases, just like Niten).

Then yeah, I'd definitely consider wearing it. As long as forging it doesn't require special mats.

Protection change: Tenboro wasn't entirely right about heavy armor benefitting from the Protection change -- the actual mitigation actually got worse for people in high-value Protection armor.

What happened before the change, intentional or not, was that the armor values were being applied again in full, so you effectively got a benefit equal to your armor protection instead of 25% of it, which itself would be insignificant since 25% of the equipment armor value works out to about 5-12% more damage reduction unless every piece had 18% protection.

Now, it's a flat 25% reduction of incoming damage, which makes it a gain for cloth and shade wearers, a wash for kevlar and power armor users, shield armor being way more valuable, and a total ballcrush for plate wearers, who lost up to 50% of their Protection benefit.

It's still a 33% increase in effective HP, though.

It has been said that every time someone asks,it get pushed up another week ,or something like that.So my best guess would be some where around the year 2020.Plus the person that asked about it wont get the refund.

I think HV could do with a FAQ in the forums that is WELL-PUBLICISED (read: everyone puts it in our sigs) and LINKS to the various places in the wiki.

Would it possible to add one turn to the duration of either Haste or Shadow Veil for those of us who don't
have Innate Arcana?

So they both don't expire at the same time (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

It's a habit to cast them one right another and like dumb butt, I keep forgetting that they will always
expire on the same turn (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

It's not that big of a deal, adapt, overcome, conquer and keep grinding forward (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

The way things are now.I usually first use sol then regen and lots of times channeling will pop up(and even if it doesnt) I use sv and then sometimes it pops up then,but same thing if it doesnt I use protection. If channeling hasnt come up before then it usually does after that.Then I hit haste.Either way thats the order I use weather channeling comes up or not.Plus after all that if channeling comes up during the battle I will use it on which ever spell is about to end.I am not anybody to be giving anyone advice on this game. Just saying how I do it (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

They don't actually expire at the same time. When the counter hits 0 for both, simply renew Haste first. This will allow you to keep the 50% speed increase, so SV remains up the next turn for you to renew.

Yes, I have tested this. You're not the only one to notice they come due at the same time. Yes, you lose half a tick, but really, this is nothing.
