I'm liking this update a lot (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

The monsters got squishier, spirit tank last longer and I live a whole lot longer on IWBTH (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Fantastic. Remove lower arenas, the only things i played in the HV. now hath will become even harder to get. For fucking the middleman so much, hath should become a very rare drop.

I do notice that my Spirit points don't drain as fast, but I do have to cast Cure a lot more often since Regen doesn't activate each round. It only activates 60% of the time, which doesn't seem right (even with Haste cast). Protection scrolls actually do benefit mages quite a bit, which is the only real benefit to mages. Having a staff that does marginally more damage is useless on higher difficulties. It only slightly helps on Normal difficulty.

But overall, mages are slower, monsters are faster, Haste is cut in half (spell wise), and monsters can attack immediately with devastating consequences to a mage that doesn't have the chance to cast Spirit Shield, Spark of Life, or Protection. One step forward and three steps back for mages.

Come to think of it, shielding power armor would probably pretty powerful if not for the wearing shield requirement (kinda silly, since not even shield bash needs a shield xD )

just me or the elementals got a bit stronger? also: 10.66+20.65=!29.1 unless there's some sort of penalty in mitigation...?

I think the bad part of the new speed system is: it's very much not intuitive. You don't know what will happen after taking certain action, and players won't happy with it. We use potions since we need the function now, we expect to gain something when regen is on. Now we need to guess.

Did you start before dawn event? Because arenas reset at dawn event (give or take a few seconds to sync).

But potions produce the effect 'now' it's predictably. At least the first tick.

For heavies, it's basically become like int, but for physical crit and far worse/more expensive. Still contributes towards sp though.
