- Shield Armor was retired.

Not only action speed and burden totally fucks me, now the shield armor is retired, which means the set im wearing now is the last set I will have, you know what... I quit

but if you are one of the people on here who have more than just one perk...

I have more than 1 perk without a gold star. How did I do that? By running Hentai@Home (and I don't even have good upload speed), shrining artifacts and selling stuff to other players. That has nothing to do with luck, well aside from shrining but my success rate isn't high.

Well, problem is MM damage is based on elemental prof. Which means staff will do more damage if your elemental prof is low. MM will still probably do more damage if your elemental prof is high enough...


I think having at least IA is practically a necessity with this latest patch... The haste really is helping quite a bit now. It is somewhat closer to how it was before in terms of difficulty (as in closer to last patch). So instead of the giant jump in difficulty, it is just a small jump. It is still harder than it was before but more manageable now. Personally, to make agility somewhat more useful, it would be nice if haste was based on agility, but... I'm sure that would make agility actually useful so that would never happen.


However, this is going to make haste (spell and scrolls) that much more valuable... They are almost literally necessities now.

AFAIK there are at least 1 other person who "abused" the bug in the same manner that I did, which is to shrine before the fix and then continue shrining after the fix.

I would like to hear why I am in the wrong and they're in the clear.

Same reason my playstyle gets nerfed every patch. He hates us. It is the capitalization and our character count and our positioning. I just know it.

I really only have one complaint, burden. If I take off my one piece of Balance armor, my critical strike rate is higher than when I have it on. I find that one solitary thing to be rather silly.

I'm trying to have a rational, logical discussion with him. I want it to be transparent so everyone can see.

I don't mind being wrong, I just don't like people telling me i'm wrong, that i'm a cheater without any proof.

If he can give me 1 logical reason why I should be punished but others who did the same as me shouldn't be, I would give up this issue.

Outside of the ones who were banned (unlike you who just had an inventory reduction), "others" shrined a few ponies before realizing that something was wrong, and stopped. You probably did somewhere between 30 and 50. I'm not addressing it further in this thread.

Alright, I confess, I did shrine my few ponies twice before and then after the bug fix. Just delete all my materials, I only hoard them in hopes of getting something worth forging one day, anyway.

See, it used to be action speed. But that made even less sense practically, since getting slowed down meant trading for higher armor would never let you take less damage.

Trading it for evade, at the very least, still gives a reduction in damage overall.

You know, he implemented a function so that we could shrine without looking.

I used a script that I created to shrine multiple artifacts and trophies to shrine my ponies. I shrined, then I went about grinding grindfest.

And yes, I fully agree that I shrined about 50 ponies before that bugfix because I had that many.

But I digress. If he's not interested in this discussion then I guess there's not much I can do.

As for the new changes, I like the change to Haste. Finally we won't be double-tapped. Which is good.

Overall this patch has been quite positive for me, except for that incident. Grindfest and arenas are both much more fun to play as a mage now than before.

I've only sent him like 2 PMs asking about when Donations would be added again and they were several weeks/days apart D:

Personally, I also doubt Chosen did it on purpose all things considered, but meh. Tenboro is Tenboro. (Heck, often when i shrine things, I don't even look, I just shrine until I have nothing left since I am watching anime at the same time) . Someone, please make a script to make it so that we won't shrine a pony figurine by accident x.x

I still think that the burden reduction removal was a bit too much... I mean, if he had replaced it with something like parry bonus or resist bonus, then that would've somewhat made up for it.


Personally, I'd love to see action speed bonuses on all three equipment types. Like maybe +0.3% per 10 prof for cloth, .25 for light, .05 for heavy. But I also know that would never happen.

How about this then Tenboro, MP and/or SP reduction. Could be base or max. It is a penalty that is noticeable though not completely murderous.

Or perhaps a minor amount of mix between damage and accuracy and critical.
