Tenb, can you give light armor some action speed buffs? And MAYBE give cloth some cast speed buffs (proficiency I mean). And then give heavy armor some like buff to replace the burden?

Heavy doesn't really need a big buff even. Just a small buff like +max hp would work.

And can you PLEASE remove karma from the SP base calc? Peopel are still trying to kill me.

For what it's worth, you're right, it was bugged. It looks correct, but it was actually using the raw equipment stats, not the processed/scaled ones. Which means it was actually adding.. somewhere between 100% and 125% the equipment's real mitigation, depending on your level.

This is a huge nerf to the prot spell for light/heavy; people who think otherwise are delusional. Not only is damage taken vastly increased both from less PMI, monsters hit much more frequently, regen heals substantially less. If you are going to kill the value of the primary attribute of light armor, you really should make some other changes to go with it, especially seeing as it's the least popular armor choice. Swift strike potency also does less now. 2 patches ago it was like 10.4%. Last patch it was 10%. Now its 9.6% (with lvl 5 swiftstrike).

I didn't shrine them multiple times ffs.

After the bug was fixed, I thought he reset everything so I shrine again. Did he specifically tell me not to shrine? No. Did he make any attempt to prevent me from shrining again after he fixed the bug? No.

Did I shrine more than the amount I had? No. Feel free to check every single pony shrine I did, and the inventory count I had before that.

Seriously. You could've just identified the peeps that shrined and set their pony count for each pony left to 1 or something. That's what I did.

- Burden reduction was removed as a heavy armor proficiency bonus.

- Shield Armor was retired.

-- Heavy Armor drop as Shielding (+block when using a shield) and Mithril (-20% burden)

- Protection (normal) was changed to be a +25% increase in equipment armor bonuses to a straight +25% physical/magical mitigation boost.

- Protection (scroll) was increased to a +50% physical/magical mitigation boost.

- Haste (normal) was reduced to +25% action speed.

- Shadow Veil (scroll) was increased to +30% evade.

Yay, Protection buff! Oh...Haste nerf... Oh, Shadow Veil buff?

- Monsters now use the player mitigation forumula for physical mitigation. Meaning, it doesn't increase as fast at higher levels, and caps at 80.

Good.

- RiddleMaster appearance was tweaked. It will appear less often on average, but at less predictable intervals.

- Some of the early arenas were dropped, others had slight adjustment to round count and monster composition.

- Snowflake's Home for Abandoned Ponies (a subsidiary of Snowflake's Shrine) now accepts unwanted ponies in exchange for a random binding and 1-3 random high-grade materials.

I just did an IWBTH Arena, 25 rounds. No problems usually, I used to be able to do it previously on IWBTH without expending all my mana. However, with this patch, no way in hell. I burned EVERYTHING and sparked all my SP dry 4x over.

Protection now suxxor, Haste now suxxor, Heavy armours are point-blank useless. Even with 63.5% base PMI, everything is hitting me like a ten-tonne truck.

Might as well mage using Light armour.

Since heavy armor gets nerfed again and again why not remove it completely and just drop mage gear?

Oh yes, we all seem to have forgotten. The karma amplifier training and all karma effects on HV shall have been (completely) removed in this patch.

All because of a bug and false accusations that has no base at all.

I am reading the thread from the beginning and i saw there was a bug with pony shrining. I waited after tenboro saying it was fixed before shrining them and carefully verifying that ponies were correctly disappearing.

And yeah i lost some phazons too (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) .

That's what gives.

Tenboro, could you make the bonus speed in daggers and wakizashis retroactive? (This is the only thing I truly ask for)
It hurts a bit to have to search for a new ethereal wakizashi with natural speed attack bonus (after having improved several times the one I am using).

Also I have Swift Strike lvl.1 in that wakizashi. Before it gave +2%, now +1.92%. Just informing.


About agility I suppose I'll reduce the stat little by little and give the exp to dexterity, as my parry bonus (not touched, thanks!) can protect me from these 1st turn strikes (when oneself casts haste). Agility only gives critical chance if you carry heavy armor as burden reduction is gone and I don't get evade practically. Agility is only useful for crit chance so dex will prove useful for my DW style (I'd gladly sacrifice +2% critical for +1% parry)

The advantages from wearing all heavy are reduced but there are at least some. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I feel a bit sorry that the latest patches are taking the fun from me to continue playing HV.

Last year was fun and I enjoyed playing and upgrding my gear with new equipment and IW. I have spend a lot of credits and time until I reached my current level and had gathered the equipment I'm using now.

However the latest patches have nerfed that gear considerably. And I don't have the time and the energy to build of a different set as my drops have sucked for months so that I had and have to buy gear if I want something usable. And why should I gather enough credits to buy new things if that gear will be nerfed again in the following patch? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

I'm not rage-quitting. But with the current way the game goes, I think that I will take some steps back from playing. Maybe a future patch might change my view on things, but I have the feeling that my efforts, time and money(donation) had been a waste. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
