As the topic is subjective and would require intense polling of the highly important opinion of all active forum members to be of any relevance, I expected this thread to be awful but I've learnt something I'd rather not have.

Now I seldom shoot the shit with Cappy off site, more than tolerate Noah and think Shadow Weaver is a pretty alright guy. Alternatively, I used like 3d0xp0xy, Boggyb and Tenseigamoon. Now I discourage 3d0x from posting any time I see his posts, Boggyb is banned from posting, so he's as pretty much irrelevant and Moon I'll sometimes go back and forth with in GSC. More recently, LoS has actually been a little more palatable lately and I've even briefly. considered making him an avatar and signature set. So while not common, it does happen.

Let me quote this, not as a posthumous homage to Robert - who would most likely not appreciate it, as he strongly discouraged unauthorized oral sex with his persona as far as I recall - but to show you that should people even care about what others think of them, it also changes as time passes and one's true personality comes out in their posts. Rob was doing his best to entertain some people at the expense of others, which is commonly referred to as trolling by the masses. As far as I recall, only once did he go all out at someone and repeat the same things over and over again, and everyone agreed on the fact that said person was nothing more than an arrogant asshole using a fancy font. And yet, it happened. Then he came back, most likely with a warning. Now he was tricked by someone and it happened again. Like Isis said, this is nothing to be proud of. Sure, he was too aggressive towards some users. He was also funny, contributed to the community and helped others once in a while. And people tend to forget that because humans only get judged on their bad side.

As an awfully irritating member and cureless - no typo here - hypocrite, I don't expect to be appreciated. I once hated radixius because he said I was the worst poster on this forum, and once hated Rob because he hinted me to go kill myself in a rather gentle way. Why? Most likely because that hurt my pride, which I thought I had completely lost. I didn't notice I was fresh out of my shithouse cave and posting complete crap. Which I still do, mind you. I got in a fight with both of them over religion and me being a gigantic cocksucker - which is a fact, minus the gigantic part, as I am barely 5'10". That was trivial and this is long over to me. Many times did Rob brutally point out flaws in my personality I didn't even suspect or wouldn't admit, and this is part of why I liked him. As for the general atmosphere, It's all cool and dandy when we guys get along but I'll quote radixius on this.

I also kind of remember radixius stating - shortening and rephrasing that shit a bit, may be a bit off - that, while less aggressive than Rob, he was merely attempting to shake the community through humorous posts and jokes, often at his own expense, which dense people would not even realize.

Why is this important in a thread where we supposedly discuss who the Angra Mainyu of EH is? Simply because, the fact is, it doesn't matter.

Long story short, learn how to read between the lines and discern posts you may perceive as slightly aggressive from relentless harassment. If you take things too seriously and implicitness, jests, autocritique and introspection are concepts that you do not grasp, I'll link you to this thread, just in case you have sigs hidden or thought it was some kind of trolling thread not worth reading. FourThirteen took the time to write this, it was not a complete failure, and that'd be great if you did him, yourself, and all of us a favor.
