Oh my God, I wanna play ToV for PS3 as well. But I already upgraded my PS3, and I doubt I'll be able to get a copy of the Japanese version.

May be just a case of "grass is greener on the other side" but I keep getting this feeling that Tales of Vesperia would be my favorite Tales game if I could just play it. Granted, I've only played like 5 of them (Symphonia, Legendia, Abyss, Radiant Mythology, Radiant Mythology 2) but I don't think I'd like Symphonia RoK that much, and I honestly can't find myself being too interested in the earlier versions (though I suppose veterans of the series would rage on me for saying this?). Abyss is my favorite by far so far.

Didn't really enjoy Legendia too much, though it was fun in its own way. Seemed a lot more limited than Symphonia or Abyss. Radiant Mythology might've been more fun if, you know, Namco bothered bringing it to the West.

Thinkin' 'bout getting Graces f, and Xillia when it comes out, depending on whether Namco decides to bring Xillia 2 to the West or not.

Regarding to legendia I have to agree, not exactly enjoyable but fun in its own way as you said. And 2 more reasons: 1* Chloe FTW & 2* Unique soundtrack.
I've played all the localized "Tales Of" series and Symphonia is my No.1 preference, I'd die happy if Namco ever made a remake and localize it. Vesperia comes
2nd & Abyss 3rd for me (Yuri is way much cooler than Luke).

As for your expectations about Symphonia 2 I believe you won't like it, at least not much as the 1st one except if you don't mind playing as crybaby Emil and
his lovey-dovey Marta. And Graces f... well, if you liked Abyss then definitely you'll like Graces as well.

Never did finish Jeanne d'Arc. Got like halfway through before I tired of playing the PSP.

Got enough mileage out of it, then it acted as my anime watchin' handheld till I got my smartphone.
