Pretty sure this "and increases the damage done by spells of that element by 25%" is a lie, last time I tested it, and granted this was a LONG time ago, it was +25 EDB for that element, which translates to less then a 25% damage boost.

I'd be using the infusions for attack more than I'd be using it for defense. I will admit that it isn't nearly as useful for a melee...

Yes, it is one hour on armours, although who knows how long *that* will last.

Also, please read the description for Infusions of GAIA - they give 10% (not 5%, not 25%) against ALL Elements. Assuming the effects carried over (and remember, the beef is that Gaia can't be used to enchant), then applying them across the board on all your armors will provide you with ~50% (effect is multiplicative, not straight additive).

I personally use Infusions on my weapons to give me that extra Strike. With Hallowed, and Electric Strike, just about everything falls before me.

Speaking of, I suggested before that if Soul Resistance was removed, but Soul Strike was retained, then what you have, effectively, is a Void Strike. And if your Astral weapon was Hollowforged (or your Ethereal gained an Astral Strike pre-patch), then you would have TWO effective Void Strikes.

But... probably not. Trollboro won't want to give us such nice toys. Mind you, I'd like to be proven wrong.

Except if the infusion says 10% to all.... wouldn't it be 2% once you put it on your armor?

The other infusions say 25% and give 5% when used as an enchant. which is 1/5th or 20%

So either you are wrong, the wiki is wrong, or the other infusions should give 125% resistance if put on all armor.

couldn't soul turn in to 50% holy, 50% dark?

What about soul spells? soul harvest & soul reaper are still used to regain spirit points but with no soul prof its seems pretty hard to get soul harvest to trigger Ripened Soul on more then 1-2 monsters, where before it could trigger on half of them.

Soul Burst is still a good spell

If I read your post correctly. What will decide if you get holy or dark is if you already have the other?
The only way you would have that is if you used infusions so if we knew when the equipment would be altered we can decide which strike we get? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

Unimportant question: Will the astral weapons get to keep their name or will it also be replaced (with demonic/hallowed)?

Dang those are some good drops. I'll trade you drops any time. Even fighting 10 mobs, I think my overall IWBTH RE drops are worse. (They were numbered up to 9 then there was a mob 0 so i assume that is 10)

The Soul spells could be turned into Deprecating spells:
Soul Harvest/Reaper would lose their damage, and just apply Ripened Soul.
Soul Fire/Burst would drop the direct damage but keep the DoT, applying itself in the same manner as Bleed does now, increasing the damage per turn with every cast enough to replace the lost direct damage.

I got an Average drop from IWBTH DwD last round, so you shouldn't be surprised about getting shit drops from RE.
