You can't. Those who have done so already are the only ones to benefit from the 50000c, 10 hath each day, along with 300% exp, 300% power and 50% regen.

Well, not so sure. I would probably get Low-Grade Wood even from Legendary Redwood. Haven't got MG even from Magnificent. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Well, that explains why tenboro has been ignoring my message about donating. S/he should just remove the thing about PM'ing her/him to donate then. I just wanted to donate the 100 for gold status T_T . I don't care about the catgirl thing. Maybe in the future make it so that you can get points to unlock some of those statuses by renting hath servers for a certain amount of time?

Donations are unavailable AFAIK, so if you've got cash burning a hole in your pocket you might want to rent a seedbox and run H@H at full blast on it.

From what I can tell, I can't get gold status from renting a seedbox though. Which means I won't get the bonus to regeneration, the double monster slots, the extra thumbs, the archive discount, the extra power (biggest reason I'm considering donating), or subforum access

If the donating thing worked, I wouldn't mind donating 1000 usd later on, but the only thing about the catgirl status over gold status that appeals to me is the icon and the power boost.

With all these recent updates, it is pretty obvious how much of a difference paying makes...



I wish we could toss out gems without burning a turn...

I also just procced channeling like 6 times in a row 0_o. (as in paid cast, proc, free cast, repeat) I would proc channeling 6 times in a row then get a mystic gem twice, lol.

You know something is wrong when every round of an arena gives you a mystic gem or channeling, lol.

After spending a few days playing in this patch, I have arrived at the conclusion:

Mages got fucked hard from the PMI changes.

Let me give you a few examples:

Before this patch, I could at least do 85 round arenas on IWBTH on great stamina. Usually, I'd run out of mana due to having to cure often, which is fine. And before this patch, I could, with some consistency, reach about round 900 of normal grindfest. Again, that's fine.

But since this patch landed, my statistics have dropped sharply. On IWBTH I can no longer reach 70 rounds in arenas. I'd both run out of mana AND spirit pots, and I carry 9 mana 4 spirits. And that is with aether shard applied to my staff, which has economizer 4.

On the grindfest side, I can no longer reach round 800 with any consistency. Again, I'd both run out of MP and SP at about 750 now.

So you melees think you got it hard? At least you guys can add more defense by switching gears around. What do mages have? Nothing!

That donation page has been removed on the front page, so I suppose Tenb won't be accepting donations at least in short term.

Just wondering if someone ever suggested to add 1 or 2 item slots for the increase in difficulty (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) ... but I suppose Tenb won't do that.

I sent Tenboro an email for adpot a server and another about regular donations back in early December and after not hearing anything for 1.5 months did a little looking around the forums. AFAIK, donations of any type are closed because finding a way to pay/receive is proving to be difficult. i.e. PayPal is not sendable from many countries and may have resulted in accounts getting locked out since technically h-manga on this site etc is copyrighted... The issue is finding a way to donate without any fallout from donar and donee. xoom charges $5 and acts like a wire transfer though takes a few days. Regular wire transfer from a bank in USA is $20 for normal accounts. I never donated before, but its sounds like the method changed often which is why Tenboro needs to PM the info.

I live in a smaller community in the mountains and my internet does not meet the requirements to run H@H unless I switch from DSL to Comcast cable and pay an extra $30 over DSL... And have to deal with their crap torrent throttling etc etc.

True, true... but there is a difference between increasing difficulty in a reasonable manner and massive nerfing, which is how people might perceive this new patch.

Consider that in BT and IWBTH Arenas (or indeed any other battle series), the Loot Quality is not guaranteed. I've received 4 straight Average Leather items in a row. In BT, I'm come across Fair equips as well - and most of my trainings have hit the halfway mark.

Certain mobs seem to be avoiding (i.e. evading/parrying) attacks much, much more than pre-patch. I've had Aasta parry me 5 times in a row, which is just ridiculous. Well, maybe not ridiculous, but quite annoying.

PMI and MMI are now very, very hard to come by - specific mitigations don't even scale any more. Elemental mitigations are just... gone. So mobs hit harder, we're softer, the rewards are crap even at the highest difficulties.

True, but if I was formerly getting Exq+ on BT, and now suddenly I'm getting Crudes, well, one could argue an implicit or social contract was being broken. Or that the service expectations are being violated.

And actually, I do agree that at the lower difficulties, you should expect more crap stuff. But on IWBTH, for instance, you should be able to get a quality floor - ideally, I would like to see nothing less than fine drop on IWBTH.

Now, the fact that this is a free text-based game means that complaining about it is highly unlikely to resolve the issue. But I suppose it is cathartic.

I don't get why we can't have a hidden option to "rent" a "server" >.> If you get what I mean.

Before this patch i could't run 90 rounds Battletoad GF with full heavy armor set. Now i can't even run 60 rounds. I don't know why. My PMI only dropped from 65% to 58% and the PL cap change only add 501st to the list, nothing big but i keep getting spark every round.

My SOL triggered too often on this patch due to nerfed pmi, I can't play it properly. :S
