QUOTE(Evil Scorpio @ Jan 22 2013, 21:19) Umm... I'm not into cock contests. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) In my opinion, people who can't find any joy in the gentlemanly sport of comparing dicks lead a very dreary existence. But yeah, if you're just playing for fun then I'm right with you. But don't forget that amassing credits and crystals to feed into Eila is probably fun for him too. Fun in an obsessive Frith sort of way. This post has been edited by roadgray: Jan 22 2013, 22:31

QUOTE(Evil Scorpio @ Jan 22 2013, 11:45) Well, I also have IA5 (use only 4 slots: SS, SoL, Haste, Protection) and Rainbow Aura. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) No SV? I am curious as to why.

QUOTE(Maximum_Joe @ Jan 23 2013, 00:44) No SV? I am curious as to why. No need for arenas. But I've used it manually in Mag BT IW from round 120~130. QUOTE(roadgray @ Jan 23 2013, 00:29) In my opinion, people who can't find any joy in the gentlemanly sport of comparing of dicks lead a very dreary existence. Imaginary dicks will remain imaginary. And in this case it's not even dicks, just a text strings. Nothing gentlemanly at all. But I think concepts like "crystals per second" and "drops per second" are more appropriate for a machine than a human being. I mean what's next, a crystallometer script? Just tested infusions in the forge. (IMG:[ i480.photobucket.com] http://i480.photobucket.com/albums/rr163/anomtai/infusiontest.png) I should have at least 25 mitigation across the board, not 22.6. Is there a factor I'm missing. ... Should have could soul and void. Speaking of soul, should I skip buying quintessence crystals from now on? Oh are they still good for something other than padding PL.

Um... care to re-notate that, because 1 minus 0.95 to the fifth power is 0.0000003125.

Let me put it differently: 1-0.95^5=1-0.95*0.95*0.95*0.95*0.95=22.6 Edit: QUOTE(Death Grunty @ Jan 23 2013, 01:18) That really fooled me for a few moments. This post has been edited by flint: Jan 23 2013, 00:22

So nice to see people making elementary school mistakes. It's called Order of Operations. This post has been edited by sigo8: Jan 23 2013, 00:23

QUOTE(TheTornPrince @ Jan 22 2013, 18:14) I've been maging for the last few days and it is now better than melee in every respect. Mage was already better than melee for: -Quantity of artefacts/equipment/item drops per minute -EXP per minute -Doing daily arenas in the shortest time possible The only benefit melee had was survivability, which was useful for staying on the high crystal multiplier. That one benefit has now been lost following the changes to shards and physical mitigation, and melee is now worse for crystals per minute. Melee has no redeeming features whatsoever. Tenboro knew that mage was better, and he's repeatedly posted how there are more mages than all other styles combined, so why he's decided to nerf melee so severely is beyond me. It makes absolutely no sense, but I suppose that's par for the course. Anyway, I'm looking to rent a Heimdall set for 200K per day in the longer term. I'll sell my melee equipment to pay the rental fee since it's now not much use. I just hope I can get at least half what I invested in it. I might take you up on this. QUOTE(Tenboro @ Jan 19 2013, 20:56) - Curative Magic Proficiency has been removed. Curative spells are now instead affected by Supportive Magic Proficiency. -- If your Curative Proficiency was higher than your Supportive Proficiency, the highest of the two will be used to calculate the effective Supportive Proficiency.
If curative magic is now supportive magic, can I set Regen to autocast?

I'm asking because I found no mention of autocasting in the thread, and the quoted change puts it in the same category as everything else that can be autocast. It's a reasonable question, given the change.

No it doesn't. You can't autocast Arcane Focus, Absorb, Heartseeker, or any Spike spells. People need to get this out of their heads.

I said autocastable spells are a subset of supportive spells, not that there was a 1:1 correlation. Don't be so nasty.
