T&T on BT lasts ~30mins for me. I don't need 1 hour.

Is it me, or are enemies faster and resist more often? I'm getting hit twice by a monster again (in a single turn), and resist levels are insane on most monsters. Maybe Cloth armor should come with a counter-resist bonus if you wear all cloth armor. I know it won't happen because the game hates mages, but it would make the game playable again. I don't know about other mages but I am playing less and less because of the frustration and cheapness factor.

It's because Tenboro merged Crysfest and Grindfest. Previously only a small number of people played Crysfest, but now everyone is effectively playing it when they play Grindfest. As a result there are now a great many high level monsters, and the number is continuing to grow rapidly.

His habit of constantly devaluing things has been extended to Chaos Tokens, with the introduction of Tokenizer, and later Tokenizer II and III. When Chaos Token upgrades were first introduced only Eila was maxed, but now many monsters have considerable Chaos upgrades, meaning monsters are much more lethal and much harder to kill.

I don't know why he merged Crysfest and Grindfest, but whatever the reason it's clear that he never thinks of the long term consequences of anything he does, and each patch is just a series of short term fixes. The result of merging Crysfest and Grindfest is that we'll soon be fighting nothing but fully chaosed up PL 1000+ monsters and nobody will be able to get past round ten, so we can expect some more short term fixes to address that (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

....and that's why Eila deserves 30million crystals in compensation! And free wins/kills!

I am also experiencing absurd amounts of resist even on normal difficulty.

One mob resisted my silence spell like 10 or 20 times in a row. To the point where I just gave up and cast spark and attacked it normally (and of course get parried a bunch but meh spending like 1k MP on silence and not having it work is just absurd.)

But whatever, I'm mostly melee now. I still have my magic setup but I'm working on a new magic setup (going for arcanist/shadowdancer/fleet armor now). I found that I use less mp potions (1 per arena) with my current LA+staff setup but at the exchange of killing MUCH slower.

Resist is independent on difficulty...No, with the spellcasting speed increasing at lower difficulties due less complications, one might even say that resist happens more often on lower difficulties. And those streaks are bound to happen more often now, more often as you level and more often as you kill more thousands of monsters per day(a player character is deadlier than any kaiju, and even if you kill one it just respawns!).

Prince: Actually, doubling minimum sell value of equips in that same patch does mean that running gf when at 1k+ equips isn't really profitable for it requires chaos token value per token to be rather high, to the point where you'd only do this if you didn't care about money to buy crystals with particularly much.

But I think the problem is more along the lines of you having a rival in HTTP/308 in obsessive crystal collection. 11 mobs in the range of 950-1100 in few months, really?.

Merging GF + CF means there's no drawback to GF now. It's the ideal grinder. Previously you had to choose either to grind for equips or for crystals.

Now you get both. And grinding on IWBTH brings legendaries AND a nice bunch of crystals.

As a result, people like HTTP/308 can now enjoy Legendary items AND a bunch of 1000PL monsters without sweat.

Old gf was never superior to old cf with any crystarium upgrades in terms of value. So the increase in value isn't that much. You do have a point about someone who keeps grinding equips' sake alone, to the exclusion of all else(maybe because he believes a legendary he wants will be kept in inventory and not sold). But judging from what he sells he doesn't appear to me to be much of a collector.

Given that I'ven't seen a noticeable swab of strong monsters other than by 1 person, I don't think I agree with that. Even with crystal upgrades, mobs need to be chaosed to be truly threatening.

I've seen some price drop in auctions. And iirc in that same patch hath got lots of cheaper.
(not to mention crystal price drop).

If I recall correctly, cf was cheaper stamina wise than gf?

Stamina was never a big question with the two - at most, running on great was inefficient for gf, and that's it.
