Nah, at best they're faster, especially with SP stance. Otherwise they're about 1.5-2x slower only.

That "best" doesn't account for any and every melee out there... I, for one, am certainly slower than any mage. And slower than any Estoc user. And slower than those who are about 1.5-2x slower than the rest.

I don't know. I think I like my scythe more than my estoc. I just swing a bit and then let the damage take over once it is low enough while I move to the next mob. Of course, my natural affinity with scythes and daggers is a lot better than my affinity with estocs and rapiers for that matter.

I can't even consistently manage Trio in nintendo with my x3 butcher ethereal scythe, but BT Trio wasn't a problem with my estoc even before it was lvl 10.

Hmm.... I guess it depends on the person then... I'll admit that estoc is better generally but the scythe just feels more comfortable. (It feels like it is actually part of my body instead of feeling like I'm swinging around some over-sized needle. I hate needles...)

If only we still had named attacks...

It also has a bit to do with level, the higher you go the worse off bleed gets relative to PA.

Now if monsters had the same PMI/MMI formulas as players bleeders would get closer to PA but still be worse, but not as far behind.

So, seeing as today is Ash Wendesday, what do you think will be the scavenger hunt for easter? Do you hink it will have anything to do with the Zerg or starcraft seeing as how both Heart of the Swarm's release and Easter are in March?
