Yeah, let's just give the staves completely antisynergistic elemental EDB combinations (Elec/Cold and Wind/Fire are pretty shitty combos) to make life easier for Holy and Dark, the mage types that need help least... Great idea.

Also, where's Evil Scorpio? You'd think he'd be all over my whine by now. It's like 4 PM his time.

Well, could switch Cold and Wind too, then. It was an idea taking into consideration the fact that Oak and Willow are already specialized for Holy and Dark, so I didn't mention Cold and Wind specifically. No need to get so aggressive over trifles...

This patch seems to make DW better thank to void strike and TH worse by removing 4th domino strike. Everything got nerfed. Worst patch ever.

I'm just PO'd that I've got more 15%+ resist ****s and 70%+ Cold/Wind resistant mobs in my rotation at Nintendo. Don't mind me, I'm being oversensitive and I know it since I found out about the patch right after starting TT at Nintendo (and barely walking out with skin intact). I'm just a bitter Cold mage who has the distinct impression that Elemental slowly losing viability in the face of ever-increasing resistances is not really on Tenboro's radar, and that annoys me.

So when you suggested buffing H/D in a way that screws Elemental, I notice immediately since Elemental is what I do every day, and of course latch on to that. Anyone who doesn't run Elemental mage wouldn't even have noticed, just like it took me until now to notice that this patch just screws Mace/Rending Blow if RB doesn't stack 3x PA, since I don't do Mace at all. Spirit Shield. It's kind of good. We'll still die horribly of course, but it's no worse than the rape that awaited at L200 before 0.72.

You were able to fight on IWBTH level?
Wow, I must be terrible at this game, since I could go on Heroic(now BARELY on Hard)...

This new Ether Tap sucks. I'm getting less than half of what I used to get from the Schoolgirls. And you can't even Tap multiple monsters now. Is is really supposed to give the same amount of MP regardless of the monster? If yes, then Schoolgirl Marathons got even MORE boring. 2x HP, 1/2 Ether Theft. Fun. I think it slightly less than half HP, 45% at best. EIJ501 (+ few others top mobs) again started to become something more than irrelevant nuisance (even on Nintendo). IWBTH is no fun with pathetic Reg2.

As for mitigation, lost 8 PMI, 9 MMI and ~250 HP. I can smell Arcanist armor prices going through the roof. Especially with (now) 5 (before 4) critical stats for a mage setup STR/AGI/END/INT/WIS. Same goes for Gossamer Supportive Prof.

BTW: Big thanks to some sorry soul(s?) who bought [part] of my Gaia Infusions (66 finished in the Bazaar rest was bought). Was probably first to sell the lot while ItemBot way buying them for somebody. At least 1 something positive in whole mess known as v.0.73. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

For guys passing right now ~lvl 200ish life post-v.0.73 must be absolute incarnation of HELL. I won't be surprised if they just throw theirs toys and leave.

Simplest way is just to blast with Banish/Ragnarok (Pestilence if not reached Ragnarok lvl) - most often used. But without good healing (formerly Curative Prof) and Deprec Prof life will be difficult until you grind this stuff up.

Does Tenboro actually WANT people to play HV? Because in any other game I've seen changes in game mechanics are to benefit players, not screw 'em over repeatedly!

Things worked pretty well for a while, with mage offering speed and melee offered survivability. With the change to featherweight shards (1 hour duration, only 50% reduction in burden) melee now offers nothing. The change to bleed has made melee slower on Normal since the stacking is of no benefit.

There are already more mages than melee, and after this he may as well remove melee completely.

Does anyone have a decent mage set they want to rent out?

Also, no matter how many times I read the patch notes I can't see the entry about free wins/kills for high level monsters (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)
