Nottle: I make bit more than 75k credits, bit less than 100k doing most(cue riddlemaster) heroic arenas per day. But the artifacts and equips are probably bigger than that, and Noodle+drop is worth a fair bit too. But regarding regular play, with good loot drop trainings and perks high level player - even if they may not clear rounds as fast due silly monster trainers they get far better rewards/turn. So it isn't a problem to put in a hour of play and net 400k's worth of stuff if they have the dedication to - and if they have reached that point, they probably have. But in the end, it is a question how willing you are to play - someone who only does arenas will probably never be rich.

You're underestimating. From the first arena up to Trio you should already net close to 300k if you do all of them on IWBTH.

Mantra: You'd get twice as much stuff in same time for quite similar value if you ran BT, instead of IWBTH - and yes, gf will beat arenas with enough perks.

I'm nowhere as close yet, tbh - I estimate I'd get somewhere between half and third of that.

What, were you expecting 400k pure credits instead of arts, crystal, equipment? Those add up, much like credits.

There are 5562 monster in those arenas, that's about 125k, add 27k for the clear bonuses (less for the first ones, but that should compensate for the bosses) and another you're nowhere close to 300k. Even doing all on great stamina it'd only be ~215k.
When I was doing Trio IWBTH on great stamina and the rest on BT I got ~150k so Mantra's estimation should be quite correct.

I agree that BT would be faster, but you get less credits and exp. And you are losing a bit on the difficulty factor for the drops. However as I'm only getting up to exquisites, that wouldn't matter much. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

You might get drops, but to make them worth something, you have to find a buyer first. And with all those shops and auctions around, that's not easy at all. So for most of that stuff, bazaar it is. A days loot gives me 25k-50k. SUre I get some artifacts, but I can't find someone to buy them...

So my total from running the arenas is 300k-350k.

IWBTH doesn't give so much LQB above BT that it isn't worth the downtrade, and the credit difference between the two isn't that big either. Ofc, if you only want to do arenas while getting more rewards, why not? If you don't have crystarium sth to consider if you wish for moar play.

And how do you know the quality bonus from IWBTH? On average you're probably right, but that's only if IWBTH takes considerably longer, that one better drop you get on IWBTH over BT might get you millions of credits.

For a more steady income, definitely. Gambling for that one awesome drop seems pretty fruitless with your bad luck.

Ran into IWBTH invisible unicorn.... Completely unprepared because I was trying to just run normal for the 100k credits... And I've been testing out melee... >.> Yay for whacking the stupid thing for like two hours =_= On the plus side, i got Fenrir pants which happen to be better than my current gear...


On the other plus side I gained like at least 10 prof in like all of my profs i had on hand.
