He was forced to lie in a coffin full of hungry parasprites until well nibbled, then dragged over to the elementary school so the young 'uns could get some practice using a branding iron, then dragged around the town some more, ultimately scheduled to be drawn and quartered by four strong mares in the town square at high noon while concession stands sold cider and muffins, but they started doubling and tripling up on the ropes, oh, everypony wanted in on the fun.
Small-town Equestria has a very ebullient culture.

And this all started when The Eternally Burning Shrine of The Almighty Evil Phoenix, the Fiery Avian Lord of the Ending, rose up out of nowhere at the outskirts of the Everfree forest all those eons ago... it seems the Evil spread to that point (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
I know, micro-thread-necro, so sue me.

With more people playing, it will probably happen again. Once the fun value of a good lynching wears off and it starts to become tedious, I'd suggest to make C.O.D. free for everyone so it can't be done anymore.

that new hath perk makes it free (unless cod fees were removed) the 10c fee to send a MM + the cod fee.
1000c wasn't that big of a deal if you sold something worth a lot, but on little items it kind of sucked. I kind of like when people sent me stuff with COD fees, its less work (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
The big sellers can easily afford 10 hath, but a lot of people won't buy the perk or costly per-message option.
If you use COD and pass the cost on to the customer and the other store doesn't bother with it, then people will buy from the other store. So long as enforcement is free, people will prefer that to 10%/1K/10 hath, which means more administrator workload.
If the policy was that you must send items COD or else scamming you is legal, then to accept payment in hath, you'd have to have the buyer COD you the hath, while you COD'd them the equipment. Once you payed the COD on the hath, they'd have the credits to pay the COD on the equipment. Total overhead: Up to 20%.
It would be nice if COD supported some more payment options, like hath and artifacts, with the exchange rate set by the sender. There could be a pop-up menu with all of the commodity items in the game, like in the item shop bot, so the sender could pick all forms of payment they wanted to accept, and set the rates.

It is 3 months since this thread was created, it is no longer TEMPORARY measure. Time to change title to PERMANENT. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

so tenboro still has not step in and resolve the matter?
He has not logged in (to the forum) for months since the incident, but by logging in to the forum he should see the PM from varst (if not the sticky as well). Even if not, by logging into HV and receiving free stuff from wolfgirl and aria, he should see there was MM sent from varst as well (varst should be able to track if the PM/MM he sent to donendino were read). If he still ignores them, then most probably he was doing that on purpose and deserved to be banned permanently. But... I think he could yet open a new account.

I've checked with the shop owners, and none of them have received any payment. MidNightPass tried to COD two of his equips and request payment in hath for the third one (thus no COD), but those with COD are returned and the equip for hath is taken without payment. The equip is still owned by donendino now.
