I can't wait for some ballsy hentai artist to do a doujinshi with the prophet, Muhammad, in it. Then we'll have some REAL drama...

Maybe the author of Manga Nani Naze Kyoushitsu will make a sequel (given that this one, aka "Viva Freedom", already has Osama Bin Laden, George W Bush, and many other extremely recognisable political figures in it).

QUOTE(bitcomet @ Dec 27 2012, 06:33) I'm Korean, and I think that's pretty funny. QUOTE(ESeion @ Jan 2 2013, 03:47) Considering how much Japan and Korea hate eachother I'm not surprised. More like tsundere. They claim to hate one another, yet they love each other's products, food, music, media, and et cetera. QUOTE(N04h @ Jan 22 2013, 16:35) . . . but the media hype it up. Uh, I'm talking about things that go all the way to the 70's and 60's; you're thinking about modern pop-culture waves. QUOTE People who do are the minority . . . Disregarding years, you have no idea how popular Mazinger Z, Dragon Ball, Slam Dunk, and Love Letter (the film) were in Korea. But the thing is that Japan acknowledges something like yakiniku as a Korean cuisine, whereas Koreans blatantly lie that a Japanese product is their domestic product. QUOTE(tentacle-man61 @ Dec 31 2012, 23:01) That asshole deserves the negative attention for what it did, and the fact that it thought it would never surface. Fucking scumbag deserves to get headshotted for his scumbaggotry. I don't care if he issued a non-apology apology of "I vewy sowwy fow what say, I fewt vewy stwongwy about Iwag waw"; it doesn't excuse his openly extremist chants of
which is inciting violence against innocent civilians who had nothing to do with the war (and South Korea had nothing to do with Iraq, so they have no right to say anything). Secondly, he claims that he was pissed at the Americans for running over some dumb-ass bitches who decided it would be a good idea to jump in front of the military convoy, when he should actually be pissed off at its own South Korean government, which begs us to stay there, because even with all of their grandstanding to their own people of "We can defeat the North Koreans!", they know that they would lose. Badly. Personally, I think we should get the hell out of South Korea, since it's clear that the majority of their citizens are ungrateful for the sacrifices we've made for them, and thus misguidedly hate us (when most Americans are dumb enough to think they are "friendly"). It's time for the games to end, and for South Korea to be absorbed by the glorious North. The only tears I'd shed are for all of those American soldiers who wasted their lives by going to defend a bunch of ungrateful, arrogant, xenophobic assholes. We should have just let it happen. I never wanted to hated any group of people, but the South Koreans have made me an offer I can't refuse. Maybe they'll learn what it's like to be honest, decent folk once those tanks roll over the truce-line, and into their cities. It is then that I will laugh, when they realize too late just how good they had it when the United States protected them, gave them technology (because they didn't invent any of the shit they use). I will have no pity for a most pathetic group of people.
Umm. The South can beat the North. The fact you even suggest the North can beat the South shows you know nothing. First of all, tens of thousands of artillery are aimed at South Korea and Japan. The only reason why these two countries don't do jack is cuz they have much to lose than the poor ass North whom have nothing to lose. Second, they were just elementary school children that got ran over. You're just being heartless. Hope you don't get angry when someone runs your kid over with a tank. Third is the funniest. Americans always think they are helping Japan and South Korea from the North. Oh please. Where were the brave americans during the sinking of the Cheonan warship. Where were they during the bombinb of Yeongpeong island. Where were they when the North fired a missile over Okinawa. Oh right, the Americans didn't do jack. Just consuming space and raping the poor japanese and korean girls in the land they occupy. Fourth, oh please. If the US didn't put some BS restrictions to maintain its diminishing power, South Korea and Japan would both be nuclear armed and the US would be entirely kicked out of Asia. Don't give me that bs about the host country begging the US to stay. The US also placed missile range restrictions to South Korea to only 800km. Xenophobic? Not even. The reason why South Korea and even Japan seem xenophobic to us is because there are idiots that give a bad impression about americans. These asshats come into the country and commit crimes and at the same time act like they own the place. No respect for the culture. Did you know female GIs were using BB guns in the streets and shooting eachother while there were people around. The local police arrested them and they refused to cooperate until they brought in their commanding officer. Pathetic. Lastly, you're a naive racist and the fact that you support the North means you're probably for communism. Really what a sad excuse. Hating on an entire group of people over one guy. I can't count the number of times Americans make fun of other ethnicities in their media. I also heard Americans made a similar video based on muslims. Oh and good job for doing that imitation of an asian accent with the Ws replacing the Rs. I would love to hear you speak japanese and korean. Psy can speak perfect english. Epic fail and Good day. Psy was practically South Korea's Eminem before he mellowed out like the latter did. His old songs are and were meant to be vulgar and hateful, so it's ill-advised to defend him in regard to those lyrics—if anyone wants to.

Koreans took Mazinger Z and made their own ripoff called Taekwon V. There are plenty if Korean copies of Japanese products (eg snack food) Another thing thats funny is that some koreans claim that martial arts like judo and kendo (they call it kumdo) are from korea. (Forgot to also mention Layzner, Voltron, Doraemon, Shin-chan, and Granzort earlier—most of them received the 4Kids treatment.) QUOTE(N04h @ Jan 23 2013, 01:58) Koreans took Mazinger Z and made their own ripoff called Taekwon V. It gets really awkward when middle-aged Korean men list both of them as something memorable from their childhood—it's like someone in the States saying he likes both Robotech and Macross. QUOTE There are plenty if Korean copies of Japanese products (eg snack food) Don't forget their NES clone. QUOTE Another thing thats funny is that some koreans claim that martial arts like judo and kendo (they call it kumdo) are from korea. Yup, ignorance. The list of Japanese things assimilated into Korea goes on and on—yōkan, ramen, gashapon, taiyaki, anpan, manga, Japanese oldies music, and whatever. (For Japan, as far as my sister-in-law from Chiba knows, it's mostly just Korean food that became staple after the Zainichi introduced them.) [ latimesblogs.latimes.com] http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/world_now/...d-bullying.htmlMore ridiculous things in Korea for you guys. Uhhh, Japan learned alot from China and Korea for a large portion of their history. I dunno how good the east asian history they teach in Canada but, Japan adopted crucial knowledge such as architecture, pottery, rice cultivation all the way down to metallurgy from Korea. The korean kingdoms of Baekje and Gaya were also very influential in Japan. I don't see whats the big deal. Last time I visited Asia. The koreans know judo and kendo is japanese. Honestly, Japan and Korea have a love-hate relationship like a typical marriage couple. Both are petty and fight over things that people here in the West would find laughable. A lot of things that some of you may consider japanese cuisine is not originally from Japan like sushi, tempura and tonkatsu. Like I said, the matter itself is extremely childish and who cares as long as it tastes good. I personally think yakiniku is a japanese cuisine. Doesn't matter the origin. In the end, it changes to modify the tastes of the natives. Nowadays, a lot of people bash the Chinese for copying. But people forget that the Chinese were very wealthy and influential and highly respected if you look back in time. I think it's important to note that the Chinese, Koreans and Japanese are all brothers...(or sisters?). A united East Asia would be powerful and influential indeed. The problems in East Asia are simple and are divided between territory disputes and history. Honestly, I think the hatred is overexaggerated. I brought a japanese friend with me in my trip to Asia. We visited Japan, and travelled to Korea all the way to Hong Kong. We were treated very well. I think its the politicians that just like to start shit. QUOTE(aznaznazn1234 @ Jan 25 2013, 08:17) Honestly, Japan and Korea have a love-hate relationship like a typical marriage couple. Exactly what I've been trying to drill in. QUOTE A lot of things that some of you may consider japanese cuisine is not originally from Japan like sushi, tempura and tonkatsu. I disagree, but let's not go further into this. QUOTE I think it's important to note that the Chinese, Koreans and Japanese are all brothers...(or sisters?). Yup, I always found it easier to buddy up with other East Asians—others are generally tough to communicate with due to the massive cultural gap. (And that's why it hurts to see East Asian countries always competiting against each other.) QUOTE Honestly, I think the hatred is overexaggerated. No, it's there. (Although it's true that much of it is concentrated among politicians and the older generations.) It's just that we, East Asians, don't outwardly express hatred like those from other cultures—we're taught to maintain a polite exterior to elders and strangers . . . even if it's Satan, Hitler, or whoever it is that boils your blood.
