Most disappointing? Spyro the Dragon: Enter the Dragonfly. I wanted the game back in 2002 after seeing the commercial. Lightning Breath? Ice Breath? Yes please! Instead I got Year of The Dragon. And while I was disappointed with not getting Enter the Dragonfly, I'm ultimately thankful for my brother getting that instead. Three years later, I got to play it.

Stiff controls, glitches galore, choppy framerate, the music was too low to hear and I actually was able to battle Ripto before I was supposed to. Couldn't land a hit on him. On that note, the game was rushed and had more to it. Gnasty Gnorc was to return and team up with Ripto, you would have more dragonflies to save and more than likely, the game would be passable at the very least. But no. The only good things about the game were the graphics, the elemental breaths and Zoe's pantyshots if you positioned the camera correctly. This was a genuine bother for me and it also signaled the downfall of Spyro. A piece of my childhood was sullied.

Honorable mention goes to Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Half of this one is on me entirely.

The most disappointing was a helicopter game that I played on the PS1. An overall bad experience.

Diablo 3 was a big let down.

I hate the Battlefield/CoD games, but what I probably hate the most is the knowledge that I gave those bastards some money (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) .

I just don't understand the fascination with WoW, that game became nothing but a horrible chore.

LoL was probably the biggest waste of unenjoyable time I've ever spent on a game.

I like to think I've learned a lesson from wasting time and money on these games though and hopefully can avoid doing it again (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Some indie games here and there that I only tried for 5 minutes at most. Downloads took longer, don't care about their names.

Otherwise WoW.

Suikoden III was kind of disappointing for me, I only started it and played it for an hour or less. The combat system was pretty bad. Maybe someday I'll day a way to forgive it and play it.

Otherwise I've usually had funs with the games I got.

Is there an "Awesome games" thread?

Prototype 2 on the PC - despite having contacted Activision for technical support this game has NEVER worked on my computer. They're TS staff actually gave up and refused to issue a refund. As I bought it through steam I'm unable to get a refund. As such I now pirate all games made by Activison and will never pay for anything from them again.

Worst:
From long ago... Shaq Fu!
I was a sucker for beat em up games since you got so many characters to play with... but it couldn't save this game!

Most dissapointing:
Lego Star Wars: The complete Saga!
I saw the ratings this game got, the praises it got, and I got so excited about it, I mean... I loved playing with lego's... I love StarWars... and combine the awesomness of building lego and using the force? Awesome!!! Or so I thought... as the lego building bit was nowhere to be found... the force was something that happened on automatic... sigh...

Final Fantasy XIII was fairly disappointing, partly because I hyped myself up for it. Bought my slim PS3 only 2 months before it came out and it was just awful - bad writing, anime cliches, no fun at all.

Runner up for disappointment would be Fallout: New Vegas launch. Spend $60, get a pile of glitchy crap. Kind of assumed they'd, you know, FIX SOMETHING after the last one. It was a lot more fun after they patched it, though.

Final Fantasy XIII but i thought Final fantasy XIII 2 was ok. I really hope Square Enix makes
Final Fantasy XIII versus good but i have even higher expectations for that because its the same creator of Kingdom Hearts.

Try Shogun2 recently? My load times have decreased greatly on the game. Although I have swapped to a Revodrive which is much faster. Still it may of been the patches that helped.

Meh, WoW was too time consuming in the end. I haven't played any other MMORPGs since then either so can't tell for others, but my experience with WoW at first was great, and then it started sucking hard.
