i didn't clean my inventory for two months, and all this time i did mostly hourencounters
just checked my inventory, have 300-350 dropped items, and only two of them - crude quality, that i got today

anyway, seems like this is just bad luck... really bad luck =)

he got 15 crystals... i'd bet the PL of the monsters was ~400.

did i missed something?
item quality depends on PL? i thought only drop chance...

Suggestion: have the maze pull up a clip from the actual show. To pass you have to correctly answer the season number.

Uh no. The point is it does not matter what kind of protection you use. It's already secure enough that a bot can't run without some human help (i.e. no 24/7 botting), but on the other hand you generally can't do anything about someone running a bot while they're at their PC doing something else. Or well, there would be some ways, but not without making the whole thing a royal pain in the ass for all players (deactivate hotkeys, shift the interface around randomly and change the way it looks in random intervals, for one).

Quality is effected by stats, which are determined by level and inferred by PL

"Upgrading" PONIES™ is pointless. There aren't bots capable of solving it, at this point they just call out for a human operator whenever they are encountered.

If that's true and assuming the normal mazes are solvable, why not switch the whole system to PONIES™ exclusively and increase the frequency of their occurrence rate? It doesn't do much but it would at least require more than twice the amount of current "human operator" time, which would make it a lot more annoying for bot users.

Maze is just fine. If bot-players are a serious problem, I would be very surprised if scrutiny of the extensive HV database didn't reveal some incriminating patterns. Probably more time and effort than it's worth to Sheriff Tenboro, although I bet he'd find a few willing players he could deputize if absolutely necessary...
