I should have caught that, my apologies. Just fixed it, the problem was that the script looks for full words matching "start" rather than "start.", and the filter that turns all ". " (period space) into " " (space) doesn't function if the period is at the end of the post (since there's no space afterwards).

[*]Bids can be canceled by typing "itemcode cancel" without quotes in a subsequent post before the last 48 hours of the auction, but should not be done after.
BTW, those of you with outbid notifications: the notify is only sent the next time the page gets parsed and an update is seen. So if A outbids B at 1:00, and B has notify on, B will only get the notify message the next time Update is pressed, which might not be until 1:15 or something like that.
(But in the final hours of the auction, which are the only ones that really matter, updates will be near continuous anyway, so there will not be lag time then. If everything works properly, that is...)
