0.7 is now live on the servers. The following changes and additions have been made:

Front Page

The real front page is finally done. All galleries that are marked as public (see below) will be listed on this page, and can be filtered by category and keywords in the galleries' names.

Public Category

You can now assign a public category to each gallery. Doing so will allow it to show up on the Galleries front page, as well as mark it so it can eventually be used on the main site and possibly in other ways on future additions to E-Hentai. The possible categories are: Doujinshi, Manga, Artist CG, Game CG, Image Collections (for other types of sets), Cosplay, Real Porn and Misc.

Note that galleries that are private will NOT show up on the front page or otherwise be publicly listed, and will NOT be included on the main site or used in other ways. However, you are still free to post both public and private galleries elsewhere or to this forum in the same way as before.

ALL GALLERIES UPLOADED SO FAR ARE KEPT PRIVATE. IF YOU WISH TO MAKE THEM PUBLIC, YOU HAVE TO MAKE THAT ASSIGNMENT YOURSELF THROUGH THE MANAGER.

Manager Changes

- You can now change folder settings through the Modify page.

- Ways to set and change public category have been added as a multi-edit on the main page, as well as to the create/modify page.

- Select/Unselect All buttons for folders have been added.

Login

The system will now present a proper login dialog instead of asking you to visit the main page to log in.

Layout changes

Lots. I can't be arsed to list all.

Only thing that I think it lacks is a Translated Doujinshi category instead of just Doujinshi.

I'll just load them all to Doujinshi.

Well, you can really come up with a virtually infinite number of categories, but I figured I'd limit it to 8. You can just tag it as translated, and search on it.

It's not intended to be the "ultimate solution", but it'll be sufficient until I can roll the Next Big Thing into the world. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Oh wow, that pretty much killed my idea of indexing all manga in one thread for convenience. Good job with the new version tho, I like it.

Aww darn... with this live now I have to go back and rename all my Touhou Doujinshi I put up (The spelling I put, "Tohou" is technically not right. >.< ). Curse you Tenboro!

Yeah, I don't know if it's just me here, but after doing a little looking around, whenever I click a thumbnail on the galleries system, I get this image:

It doesn't matter which gallery I go to. The thumbnails are the images that they are supposed to be, but whenever I click something it's that same image? As sort of cute as it is to have all roads lead to LotR, I must ask: what the fuck is going on?

I already thought of an easy addition to .7 beta: Being able to search not only by keyword, but by user as well. For instance rather than having a large list of galleries you have put up, you can just link to the search page for yourself. Also if you remember that a specific user uploaded something you wanted to find, but couldn't remember the name, then it would help find galleries that way as well.

Not sure how useful it would be. I'm considering putting in some more advanced options on an expandable pane through, it would probably go there if I did.

But surely make sure that only public galleries could be viewed if you had a "View all by user" button.

Some of our banner makers upload their submissions to private galleries.

Of course, private galleries won't be displayed no matter what you feed that page.
