Event Generator changes

The Event Generator has been rewritten to have almost zero overhead. This means that it is now invoked directly instead of through a weird iframe, which fixes several issues it's had in the past.

- Everyone will now get HentaiVerse battles by default. The "legacy" battle system is no more.

- You will no longer get the "blank box" that used to show up when the system checked if you were due for an encounter but none was available.

- The option to disable random encounters has been removed, as with the new system, it doesn't actually create an encounter unless you click the event.

- The Dawn Event will now always give at least 10% of the required EXP for next level. This is fixed, and unaffected by EXP bonuses.

(Note that if you'd already gotten the Dawn Event today, you'll get it again. This is normal.)

Loot Generator improvements

The part of the loot generator that determines equipment type and class has been refined. Instead of doing a plain roll on fixed odds, there are now two separate rolls.

- The first roll determines type (one-handed, two-handed, staff, shield, etc..), while the second roll determines the newly introduced "tier" of equipment. While the odds for equipment type are still fixed (unless you use a trophy to set it), equipment tier is now affected by the difficulty setting. For example, on IWBTH the odds for getting tier 2 and tier 3 equipment is 5x higher than on normal.

Balancing Changes

- The additional increase in monster HP now starts at level 100.

- The chance for top-quality weapons being Ethereal has increased. It's now 2% for Exquisite, 5% for Magnificent and 10% for Legendary.

- Cotton and Gossamer armor drops no longer have burden.

- Reduced burden on Daggers and Wakizashi

- Difficulty now has a larger effect both on loot quality and credit drops.

- Focus equipment now also comes with a Mana Conservation bonus which reduces the Mana Cost stat.

- Axes now have more damage and burden, but are also rarer.

- Soul Magic is now placed under a new pseudo-proficiency "Spiritual", which cannot be boosted by itself, but is the average of your Forbidden and Divine proficiencies.

- Random encounters now get the same drop chance bonuses as last arena rounds do.

Misc

- Hitting Space Bar in Snowflake's Shrine will now repeat the last action (offering, and for trophies, equipment choice).

- Acquiring Hath Perks like Innate Arcana should now take effect immediately.

- Fixed a broken error message when trying to train two things at the same time.

- Fixed a bug where Bleed from Vital Strike would not cause any damage if you weren't holding a Bleed-proccing weapon.

- The number of equipment levels gained in the Item World on higher difficulties was increased.

Don't forget that it's a two-way sword, as your equipments' level can't catch up.



Wiki question:
1. What is the new equipment level gain scale in IW?
(We knew in the past that BT guarantees 2, normal guarantee 1, so I would expect similar answers)

2. For Snowflake's Shrine, if one type of trophies are all shrined, do we need to manually select another type of trophies, or the system would just go ahead and shrine the following type?

Something seems pretty messed up with arena. I just got suddenly booted out of an arena. Started another, different one and at round 4 when hitting an enemy I suddenly got sent to round 9 of the arena, hitting enemy at round 9 then sent me back to round 4. I then played my way normally through to round 9 to find the enemies already wounded there.

Ok weird things happened. I was in an arena just now and suddenly instead of going to the next turn I got kicked out to the default arena list screen. Got no way to resume, even clicking battle tab doesn't work. Then I decide to try shrining some crappy trophies I've been saving. Got a crappy weapon as usual, and saw the "Hit spacebar to ..." So I hit the spacebar, and suddenly I'm in the previous battle again (WTF?).

This one is very good for players like me who is in low level
Low level players will have fun
High level ones will get suitable challenges
- Reduced burden on Daggers and Wakizashi
Good news for Niten Ichiryu
- Difficulty now has a larger effect both on loot quality and credit drops.
This is what everyone hopes for
- Focus equipment now also comes with a Mana Conservation bonus which reduces the Mana Cost stat.
Mages will feel better?
