I thought it was about time for me to start posting some stories. I'll have a whole mix up of stuff here every so often. First up, a true story from my life. I hope you'll enjoy it and everything else I post.

I had my first sexual experience when I was five years old. She was the same age as me and that’s all I’ll say about her. We didn’t really know what we were doing, we just knew it felt good. We weren’t just lovers though, we were best friends. Back then we did things because we thought they were fun. But it became more than just sex. We loved each other. There wasn’t anything we wouldn’t do for each other. We’d read her boring books and listen to my boring music together. We promised to marry each other when we got older. Then, during the summer that we turned nine years old, her and her parents were going to Mexico for a cheap vacation. She would only be away three weeks, but we didn’t want to be separated for so long. I bought her a book called The Tiger Rising for her to read and she bought me a harmonica to learn to play. They never did come back from Mexico. They were killed in a gun fight between rival drug dealers. They weren’t doing anything wrong, they were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. I was devastated. I still think about her, and I still have that harmonica.

Corrected.

Alright next one. This story comes from a children's book I tried to write. It was supposed to have seven stories with good morals, but this was the only one that got finished. Enjoy!

The Wisest Man

There once was a wise man that lived to be a thousand years old. Throughout his long life he acquired all the knowledge of the world. You could ask him any question at all and he would have an answer.
One day while he was walking through town, a farmer approached the wise man and said, “The crops this year are not as bountiful as last year’s. How do I solve this problem?” The wise man said, “The land is like a person. It grows tired after a hard day’s work and needs time to rest. You should cut your land into two parts. Farm one side one year and the other side the next year. This will give the land time to rest from its hard work.”
“Thank you so much sir, I shall follow your advice.” Said the farmer and walked away.
A little while later, a poor young man went to the wise man and asked, “Excuse me, could you give me a little money so that I may buy some food?” The wise man said to him, “I shall give you something far greater than money. I shall give you knowledge. Tell me, do you like fish?”
“Oh, I love fish! In fact, that is what I was planning on buying.” said the young man. The wise man tells him, “There is a lake just a mile from here. You can catch fish there.”
“But I do not have a fishing pole.” explained the young man. The wise man then said to him, “There is more than one way to catch a fish. You could use your shirt as a net. You can use a sharp stick as a spear. Why, you can even use your fingers as bait and catch a fish with your bare hands.” The young man said, “I never thought of that! Oh, thank you kind sir.” With that, the young man hurried towards the lake.
While he the wise man was walking home, he was stopped by a knight who held something concealed in his hands. He said to the wise man, “I have a bird in my hands. Is it dead or alive?” The knight was trying to trick the wise man. If the wise man said it was alive, the knight would crush the bird say it was dead. If the wise man said it was dead, the knight would release it and say it was alive. So the wise man said to the knight, “The answer is in your hands.” and walked away.
The end.

Nice stories, you ahve here!
tell me, do you have plans and a frame, where you build your story up on, or sou you just let your fingers flow until you decide to put an end?
i guess the first answer is correct, since your second story sounds quite well thought-out, but let's not make any overhasty assumtions (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

Now here's a map I made for one of my stories. If you think it looks crappy, it's because I drew it by hand and I can't draw... at all.

(IMG:[i849.photobucket.com] http://i849.photobucket.com/albums/ab54/kingwolf707/TekataraStates.jpg)

The story is "Steel Gauntlet" which takes place during a war on the planet "Tektara". It's part of my grand project I call "War Saga" which is a long timeline of interconnected conflicts. So, here are all the series in my "War Saga":

Steel Gauntlet: Global war on a planet with elves, dragons and other such fantasy creatures.

WWIII: World War 3 set in the somewhat distant future. (Like the late 2100s)

The Vigilante: Common men seek to end major crime in the US, and around the world. (Set during WWIII)

Mercenary Unit 707: The seven best mercenaries in the world take on the toughest missions of WWIII.

Galactic Chaos: The hero of the Lunar War is the secret weapon against aliens taking over the Milky Way.

I'll post some bits and pieces from these series when I get the chance. By the way, if you like what I post, give me some +karma man!

Why don't I introduce you to some characters and their stories. Let's start with the main characters from Steel Gauntlet.
----------------------------------

Kanbei Kasai: The ruler of Sanjuro. His ancestors created a nation with the help of elves, dwarves, wolves and every manner of creature found on Tektara. Sanjuro is the only nation on Tektara where all races of creatures live harmoniously. This gives them an advantage in war time that Kanbei exploits extensively throughout his campaigns.

Toshiro Mifune: The ruler of Satsuma. As tensions rise, Kanbei's father improves his relations with his western neighbor. Toshiro sees a strong ally in and marries his daughter to Kanbei to ensure a strong relationship. the nations of Sanjuro and Satsuma are similar except that Satsuma has stricter regulations. Different races are separated to reduce conflicts.

Kingwolf: Ruler of the Wolf Territory and all wolves on Tektara. Kingwolf is the ruler's title, his name will not be mentioned here. His father carved out a piece of land from surrounding nations by shear power. The nation of Sanjuro willingly gave a large piece of land to the wolves. In exchange, their citizens are allowed free passage. Kanbei and Kingwolf are childhood friends.

Yoshiko Mifune: Toshiro's daughter and Kanbei's wife. Although their marriage was arranged, words cannot express the love they feel for each other. It is customary for new kings to have a unique sword forged for them. When Kanbei becomes king, he has a small amount of his soul infused into the sword. He names it Yoshiko so that she will always be by his side in battle. Yoshiko was 12 and Kanbei was 22 when they got married.

Zankatsu Yi: Kanbei's most trusted general. One of many generals that served under Kanbei's father. At one time, there was a feral dragon called Gojira that terrorized the eastern plains of Sanjuro. Zankatsu Yi broke the dragon's spine with his pole sword (Known to us earthlings as a Guan Dao). This is where is weapon's name comes from, Dragon Breaker. His fast tactics and immense power make him the most feared man on Tektara!

-----------------------------------
That's it for now. I might add some more if I feel like it. I wonder what I'll write next...

Underground Highway Part 1: American Travesty

"Alright guys, this'll be our first major operation together. Let's get this briefing started."

America, modern times. Exact location: Classified.

"The targets are in an isolated building housing fifty to sixty men at a time, with one hundred in reserve twenty miles to the south. Intelligence tells us the targets are held in the basement with two guards at each of the four entrances. We will approach from the east and infiltrate the building on all sides at once. Basic strategy is to suppress all comms and clear each floor, your squad leaders will give you the details on individual tasks. We cannot let anyone know we are there. We'll primarily be using knives and hand-to-hand combat. Only use your guns if absolutely necessary. We'll exfiltrate the targets on vans and trucks and escort them north till we reach the safe-house. Loss of a target is unacceptable. Also, nobody gets left behind, no matter what. Make all necessary preparations, we sortie in two hours."

We are a phantom army dedicated to the liberation of sex slaves around the world. Our first target is one of the largest sex slave rings in America, and this is only the beginning...

Underground Highway Part 2: Humanity Liberated

After dozens of highly successful missions, the organization of sex slave liberators are high in spirits and moral. However, the sex slave rings are starting to communicate with each other. Facing a threat to their business they can’t see, many double up on security. Some even go as far as to hire mercenary teams. To make matters worse, their exploits are getting unwanted attention from news media and Interpol. A whole new set of challenges and obstacles must be faced sooner than expected. Now fighting a more powerful and determined enemy driven by greed and being threatened by an international delusion of “proper justice”, the liberators are truly caught between a rock and a hard place.

Underground Highway Part 3: Salvaged Innocence

With the sex slave rings and Interpol aware of them, things have gotten too hot for the Sex Slave Liberation Army to operate. But that won’t stop them from taking on their most important mission ever; the liberation of child sex slaves. Nerves will be tested and broken, blood will be spilled and secrets from the past will be revealed. Above all else, innocence will be salvaged.

Wow these stories appear to be well thought-out.... i'd better think twice before i start meddling with the timeline like a cat with a ball of wool...
In the end, i'll be too lazy to write 'em down anyway.... same thing as with my drawing... :/
