So few holiday news posts, so many holidays to pick from. This year's choice is the [en.wikipedia.org] Winter Solstice, when the Earth's axis has reached full tilt, and starts heading back towards summertime. (At least on this side of the equator.) This occurs today, December 21st, exactly at 17:47 UTC - which is saying, just about.. *now*.

This year, we're beating the major holiday celebrations to the punch, and handing out the presents early. All regular members (non-recruits) have now received 1,000 Credits, 10 Hath, and one Ability Point - in addition to the exclusive trophy item, the Solstice Gift, of which 1174 copies have been created for the occasion. You can trade this item for a little something from Snowflake, or keep it around as a random inventory filler for all I care.

And as a repeat of last year: Everyone who makes a post in this thread can, if they want to, participate in the E-Hentai Yuletide Lottery. To be eligible, make sure to include the key phrase GREEDISGOOD exactly as written somewhere in your post. Posting it more than once does not increase the chance of winning. Make sure to enter before 23:59:59 (Midnight) UTC, December 31st.

Returning as the guest of honor, The Yuletide Lottery Drawing will be done by the PHP Mersenne-Twister Random Number Generator, and the winner will be announced on January 1st, 2010.
