|
0.4.1:
- You can now use Weaken and Bewilder together. Casting Blind will however dispell both Bewilder and Silence, while Silence will dispell Weaken and Blind. Conversely, Weaken and Bewilder will dispell Silence and Blind, respectively.
- Stun and Ether Theft are now capped to 3 turns. Bleed and Armor Piercing are capped to 7 turns.
- Base gear proc chances have been capped at the current loot generator maximum of 25%.
- Slighly increased the duration factors for Ether Theft
- Seeing as Ether Theft has a prereq, the effective proc chance has been doubled. (Being a scaling variable, this is in fact retroactive.)
- Bonuses to Evade/Parry/Resist now take into account primary stat bonuses from Auras and Equipment.
- Spike Shields will now also do damage to attackers when attacks are parried or blocked. The minimum damage has been increased.
- The damage returned by Spike Shields is now affected by your supportive magic proficiency.
- HTML entity characters should now display properly in MoogleMail, provided they exist in the charmap.
- The token drop rates have been adjusted.
0.4.1a:
- You can no longer trick MM into attaching a token.
- Trophies can no longer be mailed through MM.
- You should no longer receive a credit bonus from the Penny Pincher hath perks on the CoD. (thanks marcho)

That sounds good. Or bad. Care to elaborate?

Wow, another pure good update! QUOTE(Tenboro @ Nov 1 2009, 18:30) - Stun and Ether Theft are now capped to 3 turns. Bleed and Armor Piercing are capped to 7 turns.
LOL@uberz and their Epic Unobtainum Weapons of Awesome... Then again, 7 turns of bleed and APr -- does anyone really had that many? QUOTE(Tenboro @ Nov 1 2009, 18:30) - Base gear proc chances have been capped at the current loot generator maximum of 25%.

The ratio was changed to 5/1, but the random drop rate was reduced. Arena drop rate remains the same.

Wow! This was fast! A new update in just a day. Not that I think I should really care because I'm just level 24 and the only spell I have that is mentioned here is Weaken. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Anyway, nice update. Keep it up! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I'm still a little confused about what spells we can cast together. Care to enlighten this idiot? QUOTE(Tenboro @ Nov 1 2009, 09:30) - Bonuses to Evade/Parry/Resist now take into account primary stat bonuses from Auras and Equipment.

Mages are now viable. The rise of the magi is complete. We require additional pylons. I mean quickcast buttons.
uth, proc chances got capped at 25% base, but staffs get a 2x multiplier as they have a prereq to proc. So your staff got capped down to 25% then doubled to 50%.
I <3 this update.
mm, my second 9ball kill.

While Silence + Bewilder might be possible, why? Why would you do that? lol.
But yeah that should be correct.

I said "possible combination" not "only usefull combination" !!! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) QUOTE Why would you do that? Earn more proficiency?! New Poll: What is the best? and why? Weaken+Bewilder Weaken+Blind

I am waiting to hear DemonEyesBob's reaction when he finds out his awesome Mysterious Box club just had its proc chance go from 35% to 25% and its duration go from 5 turns to 3.
Overall things seem fine, I am just going to wait to hear from the higher ups if legend killing is again possible.

Weaken+Bewilder Weaken+Blind I'd use weaken + bewilder, since if blind doesn't make it miss you could get 1 shot. This post has been edited by uth: Nov 1 2009, 18:17

Will bewilder let you survive legendary magic or spirit attacks though? Can't those do like 2x your max hp? >_>

well Tenboro did say he made them hit for less then before but we I don't think anyone has taken a spirit attack from the "real" legendaries yet. But the bosses hit for like 1.5-2k when I have a little less then 3.8k hp.

This statement leaves me bewildered, weakened, and silenced. That said, I'm still at 0.00 prof for deprecating, so it doesn't matter. Something tells me I'm going to have a steep cliff to climb up when I pick it up at level 50 or 80 or something. Awesome fixes (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) One minor thing, that spiffy effect still doesn't work even if the original target was the one that was ETed, here's from my cakefest test using my ET staff (i need to get a real one (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif));; QUOTE 11 6 Snowstorm blasts Fire Fox for 328 cold damage. 11 5 Rabid Hamster gains the effect Coalesced Mana. 11 4 Snowstorm hits Rabid Hamster for 133 cold damage. 11 3 Cookie Monster gains the effect Freezing Limbs. 11 2 Snowstorm hits Cookie Monster for 75 cold damage. 11 1 You cast Snowstorm.
I targeted RH because I didn't want to one-shot him (something i do even in normal) later
15 7 You evade the attack from Cookie Monster. 15 6 Cookie Monster uses Cookie Cutter 15 5 Fire Fox hits you for 0 slashing damage. 15 4 Ether Theft drains 4 points of mana from Rabid Hamster 15 3 Rabid Hamster hits you for 2 piercing damage. 15 2 Rabid Hamster gains the effect Ether Theft. 15 1 You hit Rabid Hamster for 39 soul damage.
Note it didn't go off until turn 0 or something so perhaps the problem was that?

Ether Theft is indeed easier to activate, but I discovered when facing 5 or more mobs trying to activate ether theft can cost you health in a big way (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)
