Magic
- Reduced the mana cost and cast time of Cure and, particularly, Regen.
- The spell Cure II is now available at level 100. Compared to Cure, Cure II restores 250% health but costs 275% mana (90% efficiency) and has a longer cast time (0.6).
- The spell Cure III is now available at level 200. Compared to Cure, Cure III restores 400% health but costs 500% mana (80% efficiency) and has a longer cast time (0.7).
Arena Revamps
- Entry costs have been reduced across the board. -- The arenas Blazing Fields through Endgame now have an entry cost of 1000C. -- The unlockable arenas have been changed to more of a gentle slope than a looming cliff. -- Clear bonuses have been toned down a bit to reflect this.
- You can now only start a given arena once every day. If you fail one, you'll have to try again tomorrow. (That also puts the end to the fairly unreasonable x5 entry cost with no clear bonus thingie.)
- The clear bonus still depends on actually clearing an arena. If you have cleared it previously, it is set equal to the entry cost.
Tokens
- Tokens can no longer be traded.
- Added a new token: Token of Healing -- Each token is good for one free full heal at the Healer. Tokens are automatically spent whenever you hit "Heal All" if you have any. If you don't wish to use one, you should use the individual heal buttons.
- Tokens are randomly dropped, as well as occasionally given as an additional clear reward for arenas - Tokens of Blood can also be given out through this. The higher arenas have a higher chance of dropping an additional Token.
- The Ring of Blood battles will always drop an additional token. It's random whether it's a Healing token or a new Blood token.
Misc
- The spell list for the quickbar on the settings screen is now sorted on name instead of their internal logical grouping.
- Crude restoratives no longer drop. At all. Enjoy them while they last, because they're now Out Of Print. Lessers have taken over the range previously occupied by Crudes in the loot table, in addition to their old range.
- The cap for quality bonus has changed from 50 to 100 rounds.
- Monster damage in the Grindfest now starts out at 50%, and increases by one percentage point for every round. So at round 50 monsters do normal damage, at round 100 monsters do +50% normal damage, and so on.

QUOTE - The cap for quality bonus has changed from 50 to 100 rounds. Awesome!!! Does this mean that the bonus has actually increaced though? Or does it just go up slower? Nice. Anyway is there any chance for regen to be upgraded like this? This means no test and trial anymore... QUOTE(Tenboro @ Oct 10 2009, 19:39) - Crude restoratives no longer drop. At all. Enjoy them while they last, because they're now Out Of Print. Lessers have taken over the range previously occupied by Crudes in the loot table, in addition to their old range.
So crude will be a rare items now... Is this applied even if we change the difficulty settings?

The max obtainable bonus has increased, I believe it's +800 max now. QUOTE(Forth_Lancer @ Oct 10 2009, 14:49) Is this applied even if we change the difficulty settings?
Yes, it's applied like that no matter the difficulty.

These new improvements are awesome. I especially like the new token type. That may prevent waste of credits.

The question that immediately comes to mind is: Do the Rewards in terms of EXP, C, etc., increase as well if you go far enough??

I think I know what the answer's going to be, but... any chance of applying that retroactively for those of us who already spent all our tokens? So grinding on Normal should be easier (up to a point), and infinite grinding should now be impossible. I think I like this change. I shall test it out to see if I can turn all the Crude Mana Draughts I just bought into something more useful...

29 5 Arena Token Bonus! Received: [Token of Healing] 29 4 Arena Clear Bonus! Received: [Lesser Health Potion]
Added bonus of the token alreaddy in play, saves credits though the healer is cheaper.
I know Ive alreaddy said it, but this is a very good update xD Loving cheaper cure.

Healer is cheap unless you also heal spirit (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif). So basically you can save the tokens of healing for when you have just used your spirit attack and want your spirit points full again.

The reduced cost for Cure is a nice plus, as is the addition of upgraded versions thereof. My favorite part of this update, though, is the addition of a chance to win tokens from the arena - I've just gotten my very first. I'm quite happy. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) Thanks for all the work you put in!

It's cool that "normal" difficulty is normal and not hard as hell. And the reduced cost of cure is... awesome. QUOTE - Monster damage in the Grindfest now starts out at 50%, and increases by one percentage point for every round. So at round 50 monsters do normal damage, at round 100 monsters do +50% normal damage, and so on. I really like that part. That way, it's impossible to grind forever, but you can grind for a few rounds in normal before you need to use potions. This post has been edited by midoriyama: Oct 10 2009, 15:56

Yay! I start with two extra Cures now. I don't understand the new Cures -- are they Heal-over-time? QUOTE(Tenboro @ Oct 10 2009, 08:39) Misc

Yay! The only part of this game I didn't suck at is back. Thanks for the adjustments. After the last two updates, things were looking quite bleak.
